What a great place!! Did the tour/tasting with Braden McCarthy and he is fantastic!!! He is so knowledgeable, patient, and answered all our questions. The place is spotless!! We also had mixed drinks at the bar and we all loved them! Definitely recommend and will go back! Bought some delicious bourbon and vodka from the gift shop.

My wife and I came to Rush Creek Distilling through Harvest Host, really glad we did. The whole experience was outstanding. We were a bit late getting started at the distillery but Braden took his time and made us feel very welcome. We started with a tasting I had the 4 ryes to start and finished with the trophy. All were very good, all very smooth with very nice finish. My wife had the coffee and vanilla vodkas, the maple finished bourbon and the trophy. She enjoyed them all, even though not a coffee drinker found the coffee vodka to be very pleasing. She finished with a great old fashion made with the trophy that was outstanding.
The tastings were great with Braden describing each of the spirits, then he extended a quick tour of the distillery, walking through the distilling process, bottling and storage. Very nice to get a bit of a view of all the work that goes into the great spirits that Rush Creek Distilling products. Braden enthusiasm for his work and how he made us feel very welcome shows why RCD has great spirits and fabulous place to visit
If in the Harvard, IL area I highly recommend visiting Rush Creek Distilling!

What do you know? Another hidden gem in a place one wouldn't necessarily go and look. Back lot near business park in Harvard Illinois.
Cons: location but not really a con, just wouldn't know it was here if my husband hadn't worked up the street.
Pros: everything else. Friendly staff, clean, well set up, and the prices are super reasonable (during happy hour, at least). Like the liquor? Buy some to take home.
Plenty of seating at the bar, inside, and outside.
They have snacks available too.
Got a 4-star because they messed up on the bill. It was fixed but still... not busy enough for such mistakes.

My goodness can I give more than 5 stars because I would! Braden is an awesome tour guide and an even better manager. Emily and Rachel were our bar tenders and they killed it. You all made our wedding night special and one to remember thank you all so very much!

Jeff’s distillation stainless steel tanks & new oak barrels magnifying the great bourbon’s as a milestone of Rush Creek success north of Del Webb , Sun City Huntley,Il. He continues to meet this incredibly inspiring story & increasing demand. A palette of smooth aromatic notes, full body crafted bourbon’s. Rush Creek maintains a very clean environment both at the bar & with the distillery inviting both young & seniors to Harvard,Il . Their generous hospitality, neat pours, that comfort many & his willingness to connect with community has given me & my nonprofit AHP a repeated good feeling of satisfaction.

Such a cool distillery with lots to offer! You can try any of their bourbons, whiskeys, even coffee vodka! Cocktails were phenomenal and we ended up grabbing a bottle with since it was so good!
