My partner and I used to be regulars here at Stanchion and looked forward to our weekly date nights here. However, since their primary waitress (Kat) left, this place's service has really taken a toll for the worst. We kept going for a while after she left, but we'd be there for almost double the amount of time due to the lack of presence from the wait staff. They used to only have one waitress who took care of everyone, now they have two waitresses, a bus boy, someone to make drinks, AND a manager... but the service is somehow worse?
We decided to try it again after not going for a few months, and I'm sad to say that the service is still atrocious. We somehow sat a table for 15 minutes without anyone acknowledging us, despite the entire wait staff looking at us and making eye contact. There were five other tables (two waitresses, busboy, and manager) and no one even so much as gave us menus. We ended up leaving instead of playing the game of "how long will it take for them to come acknowledge us". SO disappointed in the service of this place, which is a shame because the food is good and fairly priced.

What a great place, tons of atmosphere, friendly wait staff. We had the buffet which was beautifully presented, and the food was hot. I will always go back there.
