Service was horrible. We waited for 40 minutes we were ignored then she came and I asked to talk to management and then she left us for another 10/15 minutes. Another server came to take our order because she never came back. Then the manager was rude and had an attitude. It was horrible horrible experience. I know the food here is decent. I will never say it isn’t but the experience in the customer service was horrible. The manager just offers a soup as compensation for our 40 something minute wait and then said oh $10 off and then came back and said just 20% off that is horrible horrible horrible I’m not taking money out of my pocket is what she said

If you haven’t been to Family Palace in a while (or ever), you’re seriously missing out. I stopped in today and had the grilled cheese with tomato soup and it was SO good — perfectly crispy, melty, and comforting in the best way.
And can we talk about the sweet potato fries?! They are surprisingly hard to find around here and theirs are incredible. Crispy outside, soft inside, seasoned perfectly.
This place deserves more love. If you forgot about it, go back. If you’ve never tried it, now’s the time.
