I have been visiting this place 3 times already with my cousins, each time I have gotten something different from the menu and I have not been disappointed at all. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner. “So I visited this place at least three times with a carry out order and customer service was awesome first time. Second I decided to go due to the good food and definitely the customer service, again awesome. Third, I enjoyed my food as always with recommendations from the young lady ( forgot her name). All three times I was either on crutches or knee brace. They were so sweet they helped me with my food to car an even told me to pull up to place and they’ll have my order ready for me! They were very nice to help me and for that I’m grateful. They went above and beyond. They made sure I was taken care of. So I brought my daughter there and she agree with the great customer service. Thank you guy so much. We will see you guys soon.“

I had the corned beef benedict and not only was it the best corned beef I've ever had in my life, but the orange juice was amazing, the service was great, and the value was fabulous also! “I always love coming here & frequently do when I want a good hearty meal or bringing friends. We are always kindly greeted & welcomed when arriving. It smells wonderful & makes us more hungry! We are served a cup of soup (gratis) with every meal including breakfast (their soups are delicious). The staff is friendly & always accommodating. Our food is served hot in generous proportions & for the price (very reasonable compared to other restaurants of this kind), it can’t be beat. Greek owned, the hospitality & food is reflective of the Greek Culture, representing pride, family, community, friendship, kindness & duty of service that is offered to their guests. This is known as Philotimo (pronounced “Fi-ló-timo” [Fee-low-timo]).“

“Looked up this place (to find somewhere near another place we were going). This popped up and looked good so we tried. It did NOT disappoint. Food was fantastic, huge portions and came out quickly. Their coffee is nice and strong (my preference), and the staff was attentive and friendly.

“Another great experience of eating near Country Club Hills, IL. Much of Chicago includes a thriving, vibrant Mexican community. It appears this restaurant has a beautiful family vibe. The atmosphere was comfortable. The building was spacious with plenty of parking and plenty of seats, mostly booths. The staff was warm and inviting. The food featured a variety of comfortable hospitality; sandwiches, soups and great desserts. I had a breakfast dish with great eggs. I loved the attentive service. “First time Golden Bear in Lansing. The food and service was great. However, when I checked my bank account I was charged $9.98 more then the amount on the receipt I received from the register. When I went back the manager was very nice & helpful. She refunded the $. The restaurant receipt had the same amount. I pulled up my bank account & showed her the amount from my bank. We both thought it was so strange! Maybe the register malfunctioned? Again the manager was awesome!“

“Went here for a Sunday brunch with my best friend and I must say, AMAZING!!!!
The French toast was just like the picture, fresh berries and whipped cream made so light and fluffy, with a strawberry ganache filling. TO DIE FOR!!!!
The bacon was perfect and my server Gloria was so attentive and her humor made me smile after I told her that everything was horrible. It’s so delicious!!!

“Better than Amazing experience for a Tuesday morning. As you see from the pictures, the food looks delicious, Latekia C. and all of the staff members gave a very warm welcoming to the establishment. Right away, I noticed how clean and fresh it smells. I loved that my utensils and plate look spotless clean. I start getting worried because everything was perfect, I'm thinking to myself that the food would not be perfect. Unfortunately, after Latekia C. helped me decide what I wanted. I think the cook must love his job. Because all the vegetables were cut nice and perfect. Nothing was overcooked or looking like it was pulled out of the freezer and thrown on the grill and plate. My breakfast meal definitely made my morning day much better. Thank you, The Original Pancake House in Oak Forest. Keep up the amazing work.

I am well aware of the way things are nowadays, but Golden Bear...you really need to pile on more food for the prices. They are well above average.
