“Food is consistently great“

“Been going to this place for years with my family. Decided to drop a great review. Skyline Restaurant always had a nice homey atmosphere. Spacious dining areas. Always families eating and enjoying themselves. Our waitress named was Jamie. She was a sweetheart. Very attentive and a very sweet spirit. We ordered the Belgian waffle with the side of eggs and the country fried steak. Everything was amazing as USUAL!“

“I can honestly say I have not had a bad meal there! We usually make it for breakfast which is always absolutely delicious but one day we were hungry and needed some lunch and decided to pop over and the hamburger I got was amazing!!“

“Looked up this place (to find somewhere near another place we were going). This popped up and looked good so we tried. It did NOT disappoint. Food was fantastic, huge portions and came out quickly. Their coffee is nice and strong (my preference), and the staff was attentive and friendly.

“Los Angeles Restaurant is one of the best hidden gems in this area. They have awesome service, food is fantastic, and whole place is huge. I have been visiting this place 3 times already with my cousins, each time I have gotten something different from the menu and I have not been disappointed at all. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Try this place and you won’t be disappointed.“

“Great value and even better service. Ordered the Indiana Skillet w/pancakes. It was enormous and delicious, served quickly, and the server was incredibly attentive and friendly. The server provided all of extras, as well; butters, jams, condiments, coffee creamers up front, and kept the coffees and water glasses full. Truly a great experience. I am looking forward to head back soon.“

“First time Golden Bear in Lansing. The food and service was great. However, when I checked my bank account I was charged $9.98 more then the amount on the receipt I received from the register. When I went back the manager was very nice & helpful. She refunded the $. The restaurant receipt had the same amount. I pulled up my bank account & showed her the amount from my bank. We both thought it was so strange! Maybe the register malfunctioned? Again the manager was awesome!“

“My first experience here, chose the chorizo hash skillet for breakfast. It was HUGE and beautifully topped with great tasting guacamole and a roasted jalapeño. The flavor had just the right amount of heat. Enjoyed every bite. My waitress was fun to chat with. Even met the owner. My new favorite breakfast place whenever I am in town. 5 stars!“

“Better than Amazing experience for a Tuesday morning. As you see from the pictures, the food looks delicious, Latekia C. and all of the staff members gave a very warm welcoming to the establishment. Right away, I noticed how clean and fresh it smells. I loved that my utensils and plate look spotless clean. I start getting worried because everything was perfect, I'm thinking to myself that the food would not be perfect. Unfortunately, after Latekia C. helped me decide what I wanted. I think the cook must love his job. Because all the vegetables were cut nice and perfect. Nothing was overcooked or looking like it was pulled out of the freezer and thrown on the grill and plate. My breakfast meal definitely made my morning day much better. Thank you, The Original Pancake House in Oak Forest. Keep up the amazing work.

“Another great experience of eating near Country Club Hills, IL. Much of Chicago includes a thriving, vibrant Mexican community. It appears this restaurant has a beautiful family vibe. The atmosphere was comfortable. The building was spacious with plenty of parking and plenty of seats, mostly booths. The staff was warm and inviting. The food featured a variety of comfortable hospitality; sandwiches, soups and great desserts. I had a breakfast dish with great eggs. I loved the attentive service. Good parking , relaxing ambiance.“

“The pancakes are amazing! Never had such great tasting food! The hash browns and bacon were on point. I ordered crispy and they came out to perfection not burnt or soggy. The strawberries were so fresh and the coffee also had great taste no after taste or old taste. The servers were super friendly and polite. Super fast service. Over all amazing totally recommend it! The prices are very reasonable and the proportions are very well calculated.

“There were 5 adults and 3 young children in our party and the waitress Kimberly, couldn't be nicer! the food was amazing: I got the cinnamon roll french toast combo and it was delicious! The bacon was cooked perfectly, the hash browns were crunchy on top, everyone loved what they got! ( veggie omlet, and the hasbrown omlet, and the big breakfast)I was pleasantly surprised with our first visit to this restaurant and will be going back often!“

“Awesome to-go breakfast selections for big families. They also have impossible sausage available as a substitute for breakfast meat, but it is by request only & there is an up-charge for it.
