“Was recommended this restaurant from a friend. The maple tree and did not disappoint. Made a reservation online easy. Their menu is awesome, simple and delicious. Crab cake was perfect! Our dinner was fantastic. We had trout and shrimp. They have the best banana pudding over crème brûlée. The coffee for an end cap was out of this world good!“

“The experience was very good. The food was delicious. We ordered the fried okra and green tomatoes appetizers,then we had their Caesar Salad and Fried catfish fillets. Everything was fresh, hot and well seasoned. The service was excellent and the prices were reasonable. I would recommend Dixie Kitchen and Bait Shop as a great place to check out for a good experience and good food.“

“The food is affordable. A little too salty for my taste. Too much traffic since the food is cheap. Kids running around the place unsupervised. The staff is rude (those that take you to the tables). Feeling entitled…The cleaning ladies are great and polite.“
