very disappointed with crandalls food !!!! my wife and i drove a long way to have our dinner and we couldnt believe what you waitress put down in front of us. let me explain. we ordered the chicken and fish dinner with potatoe pankcakes. the chicken leg was burnt hard and dry, i think it was a left over chicken leg and the potatoe pancakes were burnt dry and hard looked like a piece of flat burnt chicken skin. we paid almost 47.00 dollars and what a waist of money we left there very disappointed i dont think we will be back

Food seemed to be of decent quality, but you certainly get your money’s worth. Service was 11/10. Our server’s name was Alyssa. She was absolutely spectacular. She is the sole reason I would return.

Went to Crandall's yesterday and was so disappointed at the serving sizes, boy they raised their prices and cut back on the amounts. We travel far to go to Crandall's at least once a month even more often in the summer. Talk about price gouging!!! When the waitress brought me plate I told her that's wrong I order a breast, it was so small I thought it was a small thigh and the skin was missing. The waitress assured me it was a breast. The amounts on the sides were considerably smaller too. Me and my family won't be back and we were customers for years!!!!

We are very frequent flyers of crandalls. Me, my husband, and our 2 young kids (3&5) me and my husband always get the broasted chicken, we get some sort of appetizer, and most of the time soup depending on the flavor. One of us usually share one piece of chicken between our 2 kids and a few fries and/or mashed potatoes. Let’s be real- toddlers don’t eat food. A few weeks ago we were confronted by the owner because our sever tattled on us for sharing our chicken with our toddlers. The owner Judy told us that in the future, we could order a piece of chicken al a carte for them or they have to get their own meals at $10 a piece. We have been back several times since and have ordered Al a carte pieces for them. They have a new server and we ordered the Al a carte pieces and was told they don’t sell them Al a carte but they could split a kids meal. We did that, still $10 for an all you can eat kids meal for probably a single piece of chicken is insane. We loved this place but they have become too focused on money rather than keeping a long time loyal customer. Is $10 really going to stop of from coming? No, but the principle is. I would understand this “rule” so much more if we were ordering multiple pieces of chicken every time we attended but we are ordering ONE. It’s such a shame.
This was our fourth trip to Crandall's for Thanksgiving. In the past it was very good and well worth the money. I don't know what happened this year, but Crandall's fell by the wayside. We had 1:00 reservations and all we had served to us were turkey scraps. Additionally, they weren't bringing the food out to the serving table fast enough. The line was wrapped around the interior of the restaurant. I might be willing to try it once again, but this year, the meal was not worth the money spent.
