We'd heard nothing but rave reports about Hazel's Diner - every one was right!!! Diner vibes, great and plentiful food (you'll take as much home as you eat there!) plus our wonderful waitress, Olga - we will definitely be back - our 45 minute drive was worth it!!!!

Ding Ding, Winner Winner, Kevin said it’s his new Favorite! Best Eggs Benedict he’s had. Giant Homemade Bun, Thick Thick Sliced ham My French Toast was Great (Homemade bread), the little fat Sausages were cooked perfectly, the only negative for me and it really isn’t a negative is they had breakfast potatoes rather than hashbrowns (they do have them during the week, just not on weekends) Definitely worth the drive and the wait. You won’t leave here hungry but you will leave with a to go container.

We can’t say enough good things about Hazel’s Diner in Hebron, IL! They provided full-service catering for our event and truly went above and beyond. Even though a Mexican-inspired menu wasn’t part of their usual offerings, they customized one just for us—and it was amazing! Every dish at the tasting was full of authentic flavor and beautifully presented. Hazel’s Diner is a full-service caterer, and they handled everything with such care and professionalism. From setup to service, their team made the entire experience stress-free and seamless. Debra, the owner, was a joy to work with—so sweet, attentive, and genuinely invested in making everything perfect. On top of the catering, we also got our cake from her separate cake business, and it was a showstopper! We chose the raspberry and buttercream flavor, and it was absolutely delicious—light, fresh, and beautifully designed. Her entire team was fantastic—warm, professional, and incredibly helpful. We’re beyond happy we chose Hazel’s Diner and Debra’s cake business for our special day. 100% recommend them to anyone looking for personalized service, incredible food, and a team that truly cares!

This was supposed to be different. I have been wanting to go to Hazel's for years. The place had a Christmas vibe going. People were having a good time. We were excited to be there. Looking forward to it and then.....what a disappointment! We got seated, the waitress was fine at this time. She tells us there might be a wait for coffee...okay, fine. She brings the drinks. No straws. No stirrers for coffee. Okay, fine again....vibe still there. We place our order. Grinch walks around serving food. It's going well. We wait. People were still rolling in. And we wait and wait and wait for our food...49 minutes. Mind you, people got their food and they were seated after us. The food is missing items and they tell us they still owe us items from our order. Meanwhile, the same thing we are missing is being sent out to other customers. We tell the waitress and she has no idea what's going on. It was bad. She did not even notice if we got our food or didn't. She was not very attentive. You can say she was busy, but so was everyone else and they got their food at the right time. It was a bad experience for my family. We paid and tipped appropriately but I have a feeling I will never be back.

Nice drive in the country to this quaint restaurant. Yum to the breakfast. And their homemade cinnamon trolls could feed two.

Wow, first time here, only 10 minutes from my house, I will be back. Portions are for 2 people not 1. I had the Eggs Benedict special which had beef tenderloin instead of ham and a horseradish hollindase sauce, it was awesome. Pancakes are the size of a Frisbee and the waffles were half a loaf of bread.
