Best place to get a hot sandwich in Southern Illinois. Reminds me of the Italian groceries my dad loved up along the east coast.
Went for lunch today, the Italian Beef is excellent!. They also have a huge assortment of gift baskets just in time for Holiday gift giving.
The staff at P&R are fantastic. They’re always helpful and accommodating with anything I’ve needed from a hot salami sandwich to an order of 20 or 30 thick cut pork chops or pork steaks, they always are happy to help and provide great service at a fantastic price. A Herrin institution for over 100 years and counting!
