We live. Lose to the Hill in St Louis and Louie's P&R is the closest thing I have ever experienced outside of The Hil in St. Louis. Fantastic food options, great atmosphere, everyone is so friendly and ready to help with whatever you need while you are there. Highly recommended!
The staff at P&R are fantastic. They’re always helpful and accommodating with anything I’ve needed from a hot salami sandwich to an order of 20 or 30 thick cut pork chops or pork steaks, they always are happy to help and provide great service at a fantastic price. A Herrin institution for over 100 years and counting!

Great staff at the front register and at the back taking care of your meat and cheese needs. The Italian beef sandwich was to die for. Had to come back the next day to do the Italian cream cake 🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰
