I wish I had just grabbed a TV dinner and a 6-pack from Kroger instead of wasting my aftwrnoon and appetite at Sergio’s Mexican Restaurant. The margarita? Tasted like watered-down orange juice with maybe a distant memory of tequila. Zero kick, zero flavor...unless you count disappointment. Now let’s talk about the nachos… if you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to eat Thanksgiving dinner in July, complete with a mouthful of clove regret, this is your place. I’m not sure who thought “warm spice” belonged on nachos, but I genuinely felt like I was chewing on a potpourri sachet. Absolutely awful. Will not be back. Im giving it two stars because it was clean and the service was good.

Look, this place is absolutely amazing, delicious and a must have when in Marion or Carbondale. They have two locations and I tried both two days apart.... Go, dont walk, run. It's that good. Oh and the atmosphere is just amazing. Great service and man..... I want more!!!

Worst food I have ever had I had it delivered and it was cold and uneditable and they refused to refund me so I pretty much just threw $30 in the trash completely disgusting if I could there would be no stars

We've been coming to Sergio's since moving to Southern Illinois in 2008. The food is always great and so are the frozen peach margaritas. Pro tip... their salsa is pretty good on its own, but order a bowl of pico de gallo and some limes to juice, mix it together and the result is perfection. Everybody I've shown this trick to loves the result.

I love Sergio’s. Used to eat there all the time. Here lately they just don’t seem to care anymore. Pictures below is our sauce every where in the bag except inside our plates. They were delivered stacked right so I’m not sure wtf happened. Before this, I ordered the same thing I always get and they sent me something entirely different and argued with me. I’m sadly going to just have to do business with someone else.

We celebrated our friends birthday at Sergio's last night. There was 10 of us, everyone ordered something different and everyone loved their food. I ordered a margarita tower, which was great. Chips and salsa were great as well as the chicken Street taco I ordered. I'll definitely be back.
