Typical South Side neighborhood bar that has been well maintained and is very clean. Very affordable menu items. The food is typical bar fare, but is surprisingly good and the service is prompt and friendly. Would gladly come back again.
Been going to Sock for years. Dawn is the best bartender by far. Bianca also a good bartender. Go there for Bears game have a good half time food for game. Stop by during the week have a nice lunch special.
Food is still very good, service is Ok the older lady bartender can be nice at one moment and then give you an attitude for no particular reason, but once you get used to her personality I guess it's fine. Regulars can get obnoxious and argumentative once they get drunk. Drinks are a little pricey but overall still a good place to go for drinks and for some good wings or quesadilla every once in a blue moon.
