If I can give a negative star I would, I am so sorry but they are just unhelpful, I placed an order online through their website for a pick up last 11/27 which is by the way thanksgiving day. Website ordering platform accept my order charged my credit card. I went to the store at 4pm to pick up my food only to find out that they are close. I tried emailing the website about the incident. Finally called them, told me he can’t refund me due to it was processed 3rd party, he told me it was through grub hub, but when I check my email for my order confirmation it was processed by toast tab not grub hub. With all due respect, not updating your website, you don’t do your due diligence by not updating your hours for holiday in the website. Secondly not even trying to help. He said he found my order which he said it was a long time ago, which is about only 2 weeks ago. It’s really disappointing how I was expecting to have food for my family and more upsetting is not getting refunded. My money does not fall off from the tree. I work hard for it I call grub of course and they could not find the order bec they are not the one who processed it. Beware you will never get refunded from this store. I used to just come to the store and by food. I will never comeback againz

We go to Backyard Grill often because they have menu options for everyone in the family, from burgers, hot dogs, to salads, pasta, and my favorite - the chicken souvlaki platter. The price is excellent for the amount of food you get, and the quality is always consistent. Friendly staff and clean restaurant if you want to dine in.

Highland Park's BACKYARD GRILL is a delicious counter order eatery. The servings are large and the quantity is deliciously excellent.
The cashier knows the menu and is familiar with the Ingredients. The short order, visible kitchen creates the meal quickly. Both vegan and conventional entrees are offered. Beef, chicken, and vegan options are available. The three in our party ordered gyros with pita, roasted chicken, and homus platter. They were delicious. .
STUFF: Parking is difficult. I ended up using the city lot, a block away. This eatery has two levels connected with a ramp. Everything is ADA compliant.
