Service was excellent. Food was good but portions were small and very expensive. The veal scallopini that I ordered had three very small slices of veal that were hidden under an over abundance of mushrooms. I have to say, the dish was mostly mushrooms! I had to search for the three very small slices of veal underneath. Side dish of pasta was nothing special....barely adequate. Side dinner caesar salad was the best part of the meal. A couple cannot have dinner there now for less...

Great addition to the Highwood dining scene. Attentive service and excellent food. The cioppino features a rich, hearty tomato sauce with perfectly cooked seafood, delivering bold, satisfying flavors. The halibut special is equally impressive, served in a buttery sauce that complements the flaky fish beautifully. I had the fish special, and I completely cleaned my plate! It was delicious! Other things eaten at our table included the grilled calamari, minestrone soup and the special pork chop. Everyone was pleased, and enjoyed. Our server was pleasant, and attentive.
