New chef is excellent - quality dishes, and great buffets. Tennis courts are well maintained, and the paddle tennis courts are as well.

The dessert cart is amazing in its vintage styling.

Bad Club - Stay away. They make lots of promises to get you to join (like offering youth programs that do not exist) and then fail to deliver. Very expensive and not worth it. Members are not friendly, tennis courts and pools are over-crowded. Beware.

You know you live in the city and are raising an urban kid when during brunch hosted by our suburban relatives, the kid asks loudly: "Is EVERYONE in this club Jewish?" My Aunt and Uncle ignored it but the busboys nearby were slapping their thighs and covering their mouths. The food was awesome: there were expected lox bagels, bialys and cream cheese; a custom omelette station, accompanied by French Toast, waffles, and pancakes; pasta, fish and meat entrees; plus a variety of brie, camembert, cheddars, and more; pear tarts, cheese cakes, and other desserts. The personal service here is excellent - I guess. The hovering busboys whisk away each dirty plate the moment you are finished eating, so you can return to the buffet to continue stuffing yourself. All guests are addressed as Mr. or Mrs,, X, and so on, which if you like that sort of thing - and don't mind paying for it - well, it's first rate. The view out the back, through the enormous floor to cieling windows, of the leafless trees and pristine lawn, though barren, was peaceful. A lovely afternoon in the burbs.
