Hi, BellaRu is phenomenal! Maya is a great chef and her staff is marvelous. I hosted a party and the food was tasty, freshly made in my kitchen, beautifully served and TASTY!! We are vegetarian and like spice but more so flavor and Maya and her staff delivered 100%. Thanks for a fabulous time, great food and excellent service. Looking forward to doing it again soon!

Our little COVID-19 social bubble dinner party was a huge success in large part to the empanadas we ordered from here. Sooo good! Took a poll of the 4 guests. In rank order from favorite to least: 1. Short rib 2. Corn and poblano 3. Spanish chicken Folks- you get 6 good sized empanadas for $15. We were serving other food so we only got one order of each of the 3 flavors above. They were the perfect size for all to try one. Order online and pick up. They came in a cute box three different sauces. So easy to reheat per maya's instructions. Can't wait to order them (in a larger quantity) and other things again!! Thank you!!

My husband and I had our BellaRu Valentine’s dinner tonight. OUTSTANDING! The lobster empanadas, prime rib, chicken, potatoes and vegetables were all seasoned to perfection and so flavorful! The tiramisu may have been the best I’ve ever had! I told my husband I wish we were getting married again just to have BellaRu cater! A+ all around!

Hubby and I went to a cooking class. You need to check the website since I think they only have them one a month or so. The next one is April 30, which is an authentic Mexican theme. Our theme was "march madness" spread. The day of the class, March Madness was canceled for the season... but that didn't stop us from creating an amazing spread of appetizers. We made Baked Chicken Wings (with a spicy crispy rub); Pizza Ring (like you see made on Delish); Crispy Goat Cheese Poppers with Honey Sauce; Puff Pastry Spinach & Artichoke Pinwheels; BBQ Chicken Taquitos; and Beer Battered Buffalo Cauliflower. It was quite an ambitious evening, but Maya, Niko and all their helpers made it a pleasure! Maya loves that we all have a good time at these classes. I loved the fact that hubby and I could actually make a few of these at home sometime. (Others could probably do them all) There was plenty of hand washing to make us all feel comfortable as well. At the end of the evening we sat down to eat our creations. By that time, I could hardly eat, since Maya also provides food and drink to nibble as we cook. But it was all delicious. We took everything we made home, so today hubby and I had a great lunch and still have mucho leftovers! All in all it was a fun activity... I will do it again!

Several of my North Shore clients highly recommended Fine's restaurant in Libertyville, but I never got an opportunity to try them out before they announced they were closing in early 2018. To amend this, we were able to get Fine's to cater one of our yearly "family day" open houses (where we mostly just played FIFA 18 on the big screen TV we rented). We received a big assortment of tasty cold-cut sandwich wraps that were quite popular, and a few baked goods as well. Whichever brand of cold-cuts they use, they're quite tasty. I don't like the saltier cold-cut brands (Oscar Mayer, Land-o-Frost, Hillshire Farms, Buddig, etc.), so I was please the meats and cheeses Fine's cew used were all good quality. The presentation was neat and efficient; you could simply put them out as is, and it would look fine in most settings. For a small company cook-out, we decided we all just wanted to enjoy the "out" part and none of the "cook" part. Fine's to the rescue! They provided us with trays of already-grilled red hots with buns & toppings; a dish of savory Italian beef with rolls & toppings; a cheesy-tomatoey looking pasta dish that looked good but I didn't get to try; all in recyclable aluminum dishes with folding stands and Sterno cans to keep 'em warm. Everything I got to try was pretty good, featuring an authentic grilled taste. There were no leftovers, so I think it's fair to say everyone else enjoyed the food. I missed the delivery both times, but they must have been lightning-quick because I was only away from the tables for a few minutes. I haven't had an opportunity to have anything catered by them again, but I'm looking forward to maybe another event sometime soon. Turns out their catering team is set up in the same Highland Park office plaza as our favorite printer (Ken's Quick Print is awesome) and one of our refrigerant suppliers (G&O Thermal). From what I heard, Fine's were reasonably priced - not something I can say about several other popular catering companies in the neighborhood - and I thought their food and presentation were solid.

The food was delicious and we were incredibly pleased! I look forward to working with her again in the future.
