The restaurant is clean and spacious, so it would be a good place for a small wedding or party. The maki and appetizers were all delicious and the rice cracker was especially good for my taste. Definitely, I would recommend this restaurant to my family and friends.

I wanted to stay at this restaurant for a long time because the atmosphere was so wonderful. The food was excellent and fresh, needless to say. As it got dark, the lights inside and outside became even more beautiful, and watching the train pass by made me feel like I was on a trip. In any case, this is a restaurant I would confidently recommend to anyone.

Visiting Happi Susie's new spot after their relocation was a treat! The modern interior and spacious atmosphere made for a wonderful dining experience. From Crunch dragon to Fire Dragon Godzilla and Yellow Tail Sashimi, every bite impressed, but Rice Cracker stole the show! Kudos, Happi Susie!

Happy Sushi – A Fresh New Spot Worth Visiting
I recently visited Happy Sushi, a newly opened Japanese restaurant, and it exceeded all expectations. The ambiance was stunning, with beautiful windows that let in natural light and a thoughtfully designed interior that felt both modern and welcoming.

The food was outstanding, easily surpassing other sushi places in the area. We ordered a mix of dishes, including Rice Crackers, Yellowtail Sashimi, and a variety of specialty rolls like the Crunch Dragon, Fire Dragon, and Godzilla Roll. Each dish was fresh, flavorful, and impeccably presented.

If you're looking for a top-tier sushi experience in a gorgeous setting, I highly recommend giving Happy Sushi a try!

As a local, Ravinia resident, I'm glad Happi Sushi picked the corner spot for the block after 2 years of being available as new construction. It gives the neighborhood more life and aesthetic. Service was quite relaxed but very friendly, so no complaints. Very Nice, enjoyable Al fresco dining at the corner. Miso soup was enjoyable and the tempura shrimp was delish. The Japanese Ramune soda was unjustifiably priced / expensive at $6 +Tax + tip for a 200ml soda - that needs adjusting even after account for inflation. New Bathrooms are fresh and clean, and I LOVE they are ALL GENDER. However, they really need a paper towel dispenser in there close to the door, otherwise impossible to open the door handle without re-soiling hands after washing. While the fish and avocado is fresh enough, the rice is not great with gummy texture and spongy nori on the inside. Overall, I want them to do very well in the neighborhood and will continue to patronize them.

Now our local sushi restaurant has a new and great dining facility in its new location. Same great sushi. Friendly service and now a brand new (and large) dining room still in the heart of Ravinia.

I do not recommend this restaurant, I do not even want to call it a restaurant, all the staff were treated with disrespect, forced to wait outside in such a cold, there are many other restaurants where they do better and appreciate every customer👎

These are good people who make some great food. It’s a family run Japanese cuisine establishment that is no frills, well priced, and always delicious. The staff is unbelievably nice, always remembers my name, and I could not be happier to call them my neighbor. Don’t listen to any negative reviews, this place is top notch! I will be thrilled to be a customer for as long as I live in Highland Park, and I don’t expect to move. Thanks guys for making a difference in the Highland Park community with your service to the local schools, while also making some killer sushi and unreal wings.

STAY AWAY from this place at all costs!!!! food gave me severe stomach pain and vomit I didn’t even finish the food most of it went into the garbage when I called restaurant to notify OWNERS response was we sell a lot of that item every day and no one complains.

My family and I love to go to Happy sushi and it’s my absolute favorite restaurant. Our favorite rolls to get are the carnival roll and the crispy rice. Absolutely amazing service and the food is out of this world. Would highly recommend stoping by and checking out Happy sushi if you have the chance!!
