Sometimes being open-minded is rewarding. Came across it for the first time by curiosity; the offer delicious curry, and the sauce is savory, paired with basmati rice. Learning about different cuisines and tasting them is really good.

We LOVE this restaurant! Service was very good, just a teensy bit spotty... we had to ask for silverware then napkins- but overall service was very good! It was Valentine's Day evening and the place was humming. Food was heavenly, N/A bevs were exceptional. Menu choices plentiful. We can't wait to go back!
Just okay. We ordered starters and mains. Our mains arrived before the starters. Food was fine.
This was my third meal at Indus, and I continue to love the food, a fancier version of Indian than served in most restaurants. Dishes are presented in a creative, beautiful way, and the flavors are complex. I always enjoy being with a group in order to try multiple dishes. My favorite dishes yesterday were the chickpea amuse-bouche, creamy palak paneer, vegetable biriyani, and spicy chickpea Mama's Cholle. Delicious!
Always delicious, comfortable, and fun.

Indus never fails to delight my friends and I! I love bringing friends there who have never tried it and expanding their horizons with the delicious food! The bonus is when the owners are there, they are incredibly sweet and engaging!
A unique approach to Indian cuisine that offers the finest dining experience in a setting conducive to enjoying a great meal. The owners and staff could not be better.
Indus is a gem on the North Shore. Each dish is artfully presented with fresh ingredients and a nice balance of Indian flavors. Owners Sukhu and Ajit go out of their way to make sure that each guest has an unforgettable experience.

We love Indus. It's a creative fusion of Indian comfort food and modern dining. The owners treat everyone like their family creating an overall memorable experience every time.
We dined at Indus for my mom’s birthday, and we enjoyed some aspects and dishes more than others.
Do order:
Sweet pepper pakora - a table favorite!
Kurkuri Bhindi - well spiced and made
Veg biriyani - great
Rasmai crème brulee - unexpected gem
Not our favorites
Risotto khichadi - had no flavor
Dal makhani - tasted like a tbsp of sugar was added, where this is not a sweet dish traditionally
Further, the server was new so I can understand, but one dish came after we were already almost done eating our dinner. I get that it happens, but the owner or manager was walking around the restaurant for the duration of our meal. I’d have thought he would have done something to improve our experience but alas.
Ambiance is nice! Overall do recommend it but would say to avoid a few dishes.

Amazing place. I was skeptical about Indian food as I tried in the past and never liked it so much. Indus Restaurant change my view about Indian food. Everything was tasty and delicious. Just amazing food and great dishes on the menu. Everything we ordered was yummy, spiced well and flavored. I will come back again and recommend this place to all my friends. Can't wait to come back to try more on the menu.
I had no idea what to expect as I've only had Indian food once before. Everything we ordered was delicious- in fact I just finished my leftover brisket. The food was plentiful and each individual serving was unique. The waitress explained which dish would be hot and we could specify which dishes to modify the heat. We had no room for dessert!
Excellent food with large portions— at least twice what we could eat — but the wine has only expensive options with fairly small pours, so dinner can be quite expensive if drinks are part of it. Delicious all around and enough leftover for another dinner.
