We love Indus. It's a creative fusion of Indian comfort food and modern dining. The owners treat everyone like their family creating an overall memorable experience every time.
Amazing place. I was skeptical about Indian food as I tried in the past and never liked it so much. Indus Restaurant change my view about Indian food. Everything was tasty and delicious. Just amazing food and great dishes on the menu. Everything we ordered was yummy, spiced well and flavored. I will come back again and recommend this place to all my friends. Can't wait to come back to try more on the menu.
I had no idea what to expect as I've only had Indian food once before. Everything we ordered was delicious- in fact I just finished my leftover brisket. The food was plentiful and each individual serving was unique. The waitress explained which dish would be hot and we could specify which dishes to modify the heat. We had no room for dessert!
Excellent food with large portions— at least twice what we could eat — but the wine has only expensive options with fairly small pours, so dinner can be quite expensive if drinks are part of it. Delicious all around and enough leftover for another dinner.
We have been to Indus twice. The food is delicious, and the cocktails are interesting and well balanced. The service is friendly and error free. However, you should allow plenty of time for your dining experience. I believe that they are short staffed. Only one bartender on a busy Saturday night means a long wait for drinks. They could also use more wait staff to adequately cover all of the tables. If you have the time, this restaurant is recommended.
Great food and service, but very loud!! Would likely not return just due to the decibel level.
Newer restaurant in Highland Park. Walked by several time and finally organized a dinner with friends. We were very happy with the food, service and the pleasant vibe of the restaurant. We will definitely be going back to try other dishes.

We had dinner at Indus last night, October 23rd with friends who had been to Indus numerous times. Dinner was terrific. Interesting and appealing appetizers and entrees. The brisket and pork belly were our favorites. Excellent service. Sukhu and Ajit Kalra are doing something very special in downtown Highland Park. We'll return.

What a surprise to stumble upon this place in the North Shore. Amazing Indian with authentic flavors and a well curated menu. We enjoyed every single dish. Highly highly recommend the daal. I have never had one so good and Smokey.

Lamb chops and prawns were awesome!! Chole and poori was the best we've had in a very long time! Naan was perfectly made! We didn't really care too much for the avocado chat. Overall it was a great experience and all the entree's were delicious!
I visited with Mom who was out of town, our server was extremely polite and talked us through the menu & gave us his recommendations. The owner came out and introduced himself, he was very kind and it was great to see the owner out checking on tables. The samosas were delicious and so were our drinks. Everything was flavorful and portions were generous. The Brisket Masala exceeded my expectations, the seasoned potatoes were so delicious. I will definitely come back to try out more of what Indus offers. Everything was fresh tasting and the flavors were vibrant & not overwhelming, with great execution.
