This restaurant is closed, it appears permanent. Drove past this evening and its empty, and the signage has been removed.

The food is so good. The orange chicken is nice and crunchy I stopped ordering orange chicken from restaurants because is was soggy and overly sweet. Once my husband had it from here I am hooked! Fried Rice is also good, flavorful and not greasy

Incredible food: green beans, dry chicken, coconut shrimp. Not too expensive. We did not like the table cloths were already on the tables stocked one on top of the other, ready to throw the dirty one away. It portrays a lack for detail.

Parking: The place is not very big, but big enough.

Delicious. Wonton soup, spring rolls, fried rice, Kung Pao beef, with house sake. Better than you can find in Chinatown. Sake to me! So good!

I drove 35 minutes to pick up our dinner. It was well worth it. We will be ordering take out again very soon. Delish!!

Honestly wish I could give zero stars. The food was AWFUL. Ordered Mongolian beef, sesame chicken, xiao long bao and mu shu chicken. Not one thing had any flavor, and it all tasted 2/3 days old. The Mongolian beef didn’t have any sauce and just tasted like chewy beef in oil. This place shouldn’t be allowed to serve food to the public.

What the hell is wrong with the management of this place? This is the second time I’ve gone in and walked out because they don’t hire enough staff to operate the restaurant.

I simply can’t believe it. Stay far away.

More than anything else, Lao Sze Chuan needs to publish a menu that lists ingredients and describes dishes. We ordered ground pork with rice noodles tonight and expected a stir fry type of dish - instead it came as a soupy squishy mess. The other dishes were fine but nothing special. Authentic Chinese food is hard to come by on the north shore. Maybe we would like more of these dishes if we knew what we were getting.

You can't go wrong here. We went simple with Mongolian beef, Singapore noodles and Fried rice- all very good. Was so happy to see a location in the neighborhood!

This was exceptional- the orange chicken was crispy, zesty, and flaked with real peppers and oranges. The ma po tofu was full of sichuan peppercorns and rich spicy flavor. Even the spicy cabbage appetizer was irresistible, top notch all the way, very underrated.

Fantastic Sichuan food—my favorite Chinese restaurant this side of Chinatown. The Dim Sum is excellent, but we more frequently come here for dinner. I’ve learned that if I order take out and make no specification of spice level, I get the sort of spicy you’d seek if you were a native (based on my experience of other Sichuan restaurants), which is what I want. But if I eat in—and it’s a great setting, so I highly recommend it—and order without specifying that I want spicy, what comes is really rather mild. The non-spicy dishes I’ve had are fabulous, too, especially the vegetables.

Ordered for delivery, they said an hour our food was here in like 20 minutes! Hot and very good. The only thing I wasn’t fond of were the pot stickers as they were more bread then I like. The filing was good. We had sweet and sour shrimp and sesame chicken. Both were very good!

The chili chicken is fantastic. The dumplings have a peanut butter aftertaste and not overly fried. The food is excellent.
