Lefty's Pizza Kitchen

Drove from afar only to find that it was closed. Front door says 11am, website says 11am, now I've got a truck load of hangry people and no leftys in our bellies. What a rip!

First timers and it was highly recommended.

We ordered fountain drinks and unfortunately after only getting water, or watered down drinks, one of the employees let us know that he thought the syrup was out in all the drinks and we should get cans out of the front. No biggie.

We ordered mushroom and pepperoni personal pan. When we got our pizza, the pepperoni and outside crust was nearly burnt but the inside of the pizza was barely warm.

We were there almost an hour, on a Saturday, and the only customers so I can’t say they were busy.

It was highly recommended and we were told it was a must try, so maybe this was just an off night.

When Lefty’s first opened, their pizza was awesome and consistent. Last two deliveries the pizza was overdone to the point were we couldn’t eat it. We thought we would give them one more chance after seeing a positive review on Instagram. Unfortunately, we were disappointed again. This time burnt Roman flour under the crust and on top of a potion of the thin crust pizza which made it inedible - had to throw it out. It is like sand in your mouth. The deep dish was okay, but not nearly as good as when they opened and toppings had slid to one side - but we understand that happens. I really want to like this place. Lefty’s had so much potential. Guess we are back to ordering Lous, which is consistent and edible. Hate to write a bad review, but after three bad experiences in a row, I want others to know what they may encounter.

The delivery was all jacked up. They forgot a pizza. I'll never go back here again. They didn't even refund me. THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS

There Cheese & Sausage is so good! Family owned and operated, they deliver up to Glencoe, Lake Forest, and Deerfield. Delivery was quick and the driver was nice.

It is the best pizza around, love the crust. Get it well done, even better. Enjoy!!
