What is better than a fun, neighborhood taproom run by terrific people? Steep Ravine is the real deal for great drinks, food, vibes and people. The heart of town.

Great food and fantastic beers with a great selection. What sells it are the welcoming atmosphere and chill vibes of the location.

A small, quaint spot! Loved the locals, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, and great to talk to!

Got the red ale, Pilsner and quesabirria—as delicious as it gets! Especially the tacos and red ale.

I had Franc’s Rotbier and the falafel salad. Both were unique and delicious.

Great place. Tyler, the bartender, was just the kind of welcoming person you want in a neighborhood pub. The tacos were yummy!!

The food here is very average. I ordered the border bowl and it was probably one of the worst salads I’ve ever had. Everything was thrown on a plate- cold rice, no dressing. At
Least attempt to make it look edible! I should have taken a picture it was so sad. Not worth going here again.

Super cute spot for a quick drink and a bite to eat. Service is great and helpful. The outdoor seating is very pleasant.

The wings are good and the bahn mi tacos were really good as well!

Great spot in downtown Ravinia—Steep Ravine Brewing Company really delivers. The vibe is relaxed but lively, with a great mix of music playing and plenty of TVs showing all the sports you could want. The bartender was super friendly and made the experience even better.

Tried the Food Truck Pilsner and Taco Fest Lager—both were solid, but the Food Truck Pilsner was the standout. It’s got more body than your typical pilsner without any of the bitterness. Honestly, I could drink a hundred of them.

Best brewery I’ve been to in the northern burbs so far. Definitely worth a visit.

Get the double cheese smash burger! Avoid any burritos! Terrible 😔

Overall, Steep is okay--not terrible but not very good either. We had to ask twice for the table we were seated at to be wiped down. The restaurant doesn't feel clean. The seating at our table was tight, and we are not big people. Both my wife and I ordered the vege tacos, though she wanted the falafel tacos, but they were out of falafel. The vegetables were overcooked (nearly mushy) and the tacos were spicy. Neither of us wanted anything spicy, and food items cooked like this should be listed on the menu. My wife didn't eat most of hers. The service, however, was excellent.
