Food made me sick. Server made excuses for Kitchen delay. Server couldn't fit between tables.

Food and service were below average. Would not go back here again for the $15 cocktails and burgers

Super cute spot for a quick drink and a bite to eat. Service is great and helpful. The outdoor seating is very pleasant.
The wings are good and the bahn mi tacos were really good as well!

Great spot in downtown Ravinia—Steep Ravine Brewing Company really delivers. The vibe is relaxed but lively, with a great mix of music playing and plenty of TVs showing all the sports you could want. The bartender was super friendly and made the experience even better.
Tried the Food Truck Pilsner and Taco Fest Lager—both were solid, but the Food Truck Pilsner was the standout. It’s got more body than your typical pilsner without any of the bitterness. Honestly, I could drink a hundred of them.
Best brewery I’ve been to in the northern burbs so far. Definitely worth a visit.

Get the double cheese smash burger! Avoid any burritos! Terrible 😔

Overall, Steep is okay--not terrible but not very good either. We had to ask twice for the table we were seated at to be wiped down. The restaurant doesn't feel clean. The seating at our table was tight, and we are not big people. Both my wife and I ordered the vege tacos, though she wanted the falafel tacos, but they were out of falafel. The vegetables were overcooked (nearly mushy) and the tacos were spicy. Neither of us wanted anything spicy, and food items cooked like this should be listed on the menu. My wife didn't eat most of hers. The service, however, was excellent.

Great local brew pub . Tavern food. Near Ravinia and the Botanical Garden
Don't come here if you are looking for friendly service. They get mad if you want to order food during lunch. They were smack talking their coworkers when we walked in.

We walked out, rude service at lunch server must have been having a rough day or something. Not just to our table the man at the counter got the same treatment

Every town should have its local pub and Steep Ravine does not disappoint! One of the coziest bars in all of the North Shore, whether saddling up to the bar or bringing a group of a dozen neighbors or more. They have a long list of beers on tap and you can take a 4-pack from an even larger selection for when you leave. They have reasonably-sized menu of insanely good apps and meals that pair well with the beers. It’s also a great place to watch sports, from football matches from across the pond, or football playoffs from right here at home. They have outdoor seating on the back patio and right out front on Roger Williams. The owners are very friendly and the staff always make you feel at home. One of my favorite places on the North Shore.

Feels like a local favorite! Several families traveling for soccer were welcomed in and treated very well. We enjoyed their beer, nachos, loaded fries, pulled pork sandwich, falafel salad (yum!), wings and quesadillas. I liked the 90s rock playing and the decor is fun. I'd be happy to return if we're in the area again.
