Had two types of chicken taco they were full of tendons. Fish taco was oily and had a small piece in it. Drinks and service were good.

As I was eating my enchiladas verde, my teeth crunched down on something very hard. I spat out my food and found a small black rock. My husband called the restaurant and was told that the manager would call him right back. Surprise, no call. (I'd post photos, but they are bit gross.) Beware if you eat here - the quality of the ingredients and care put into the food preparation are low. Won't be back.

Awful awful awful!! Almost cut my gums from sharp toothpick like pieces of wood in the Oaxacan rice. Dry grey fish tacos. Overpriced food for what they serve. Terrible management. Overall bad experience.

We decided to try Salt Creek Taco lastnight and was very disappointed. When we arrived there were a couple tables occupied in the restaurant and outside. Our waitress came and it took awhile for our drinks, but was able to order an appetizer. She brought our appetizer and said I'll go check on your food ( we were thinking we didn't place our food order yet.) Their chips were stale and not good. We waited awhile for our food and by this point there was noone in the restaurant, but it seemed 3 waitresses were working. The waitress said sorry 4 times throughout the visit. Our food came out and we had 4 diff tacos. The cod taco was terrible. It was dry no crema or anything on it and the fish was so over done it was hard as a rock. The other 3 were ok. I expected more from this place honestly.

I was so excited to go to a place that had an entirely gluten free menu. I can’t remember the last time I had a burrito! The food is absolutely delicious- the guacamole is one of the best I’ve had, and the salsas are fantastic. We live an hour away and can’t wait to go back!

Dirty place. Dead bug in one of our water glasses, dead bugs next to table. Staff was wonderful. Expensive and out there food. Some people may like it but we did not.

Had a very bad experience- from the Prickly Pear margarita that tasted stale to the gross food. The steak taco came out freezing. The Mahi Mahi was grey. They gave us this white sauce that we thought was sour cream but wasn’t and was so salty it was inedible. Rice had sharp toothpick like shards in it that stabbed our mouths. Waitress was rude. Will never go back!

We ordered delivery last night at 5pm when they opened. At 5:15, we got a call that they were short a delivery driver- no big deal, we all get it- and that it'll arrive 6:30 to 6:45 when it was promised first slot at 6:15. We told them no problem but 6:30 came and went, then 6:45, then 7- now we're 9 calls into the restaurant with no answer. By 7:30, still no answer, still no food, we gave up. Very unusual and we're still left without contact -- and without tacos.

First time here, everything was delish!!We had loaded quacamole , it was perfection. Very smooth & creamy. The best barbocoa tacos I've ever had-flavor galore. The grilled chicken tacos moist & flavorful. Enjoyed my first. Can't wait to try again

The fresh ingredients combined with the delicious fresh corn tortillias make this place a must! The handmixed margaritas as well as the dlicious gucamole were some of the besgt I've ever had.

My sister has a severe wheat allergy. This restaurant is amazing for individuals with celiacs or other severe wheat allergies! The food is amazing! Best empanadas I have ever had! And the burritos and tacos are delish! Definitely going to be coming back regularly! They have ample outdoor and indoor seating. The waitress was very attentive! Nothing but positive things to say about Salt Creek Tacos!!!

Sadly won't be returning. I was excited to try their menu as the restaurant is fully gluten free. However, while taking a bite of chips and salsa I bit down on a piece of metal that resembled a staple that pierced my cheek and gum line. I kindly mentioned it to our server and requested for new salsa. We were provided new chips and salsa, however, was shocked that a Manger didn't stop by our table to make sure that I was ok or provide an apology. I'm thankful I didn't swallow the bite that I took, could have been more serious. As for the food, my son was unable to eat his tacos as they were full of lime flavoring. Yes, the restaurant is understaffed, however, I am fully understanding of that, since Covid many restaurants have struggled to hire great employees. Our server also spent the majority of her time on her cell phone, again, I'm a customer that understands life happens outside of work and maybe she needed to tend to those messages. Overall, very disappointing.

I really wanted to love this place but our carry out order was unfortunately cold & the meat was dry. These are only 2 out of the 4 tacos we ordered since we split it. The one taco that was good and we split was the Fiery Pig. We tossed the rest. If they polish out the delays in ordering maybe the quality will be better.
