Like Digital Underground, been all around the world but keep coming back to Sushi Badaya. Chef Moon is always there and always on point. You could go downtown spend double the money and get half the food and half the taste. Sushi Badaya always has great food and the staff is never off their game. Ordering off the menu at Sushi Badaya is like ordering omakase at another restaurant. It's always right, it's always perfect. Chef Moon ensures you'll have a great meal....
Very bizarre experience…food was pretty good, but the vibe is just so weird.
Were recommended here by local friends and arrived to an almost empty restaurant on a Friday night. Were told immediately:
-No servers. (All orders had to be taken at hostess counter)
-No glasses of water, wine, sake, or beer (forced to buy very expensive bottles)
-All food to be served in take out containers (but you could eat inside)
-No cocktails.
