I ordered sushi and asked to have it wrapped in cucumber. Server never mentioned the 6$ upcharge, which also shorted me 2 pieces. I was supposed to have 6 and ended up with 4. Asked about it, and the owner simply wouldn't give me the time of day. Threw the menu and gave me an unpleasant conversation, and told me never to come back. I was shell shocked, mistreated, and disrespected, all for asking about my bill. Maybe she had a bad day but never expected her to flip out like that. Be careful.

Very quaint and authentic environment in a nice part of town. Highland park roll was nice, as well as the different Don's. Plum wine was pleasant and prices were fair. Nice regional variant of traditional Japanese food.

Wonderful dinner experience, everyone left happy. Ordered from all over the menu - sashimi, noodles and cooked entrees. Kids liked the flavors as well.

Go to any of the other sushi kushi’s instead of this one. Went here a few years ago, pretty sure ownership changed because it did not used to be this bad. Miso soup was salty, sushi was bland and small, and the ramen was overdone and salty. Waitress seemed angry with us, or at least irritated, which is a vibe that seemed to translate across the entire staff.

Probably the worst sushi place I've ever tried. I got two vegetarian rolls and they tasted so mushy, was so hard to swallow. The spicy mayo was also bland. Ordered a coke and no carbonation what so ever. Highly disappointed.

Went in for lunch because they have a 'Lunch Menu' section on their menu. Directly under 'Lunch Menu' it reads "Comes with miso soup and Veggie fried rice" (take a look at the picture, I have highlighted the relevant part)Well I ordered the sushi lunch and the soup came, then the sushi came, and as I was eating I decided to ask about the fried rice thinking they may have forgot. They told me that there is no veggie fried rice and that it only comes with the bento box.I then showed them the Menu and their response is "I've been here for 18 years and this is how it has always been"Good food, quick service, but fairly deceptive regarding this specific issue. The menu should be changed if its wrong and deceiving customers.
