The homemade chorizo was by far the highlight of the meal, but overall the rest of food was so-so. The chips that came with the chips/salsa did not seem fresh or made in-house, they sort of had that restaurant supply store vibe. The salsa itself was quite watery and didn't have much flavor. This theme continued as the main dishes came out. The barbacoa was watery and pretty bland, as well as the rice and beans. The beans definitely needed salt, which is where we realized that there was no salt out on any of the tables.Overall, the portions were decent sized and the staff was nice and attentive. The food just lacked flavor or any real spice.

The waitress wrote down what we ordered and that's how she made a mistake, instead of a sope she brought me a gordita and I ordered a huarache with pastor and she brought it to me as a roast, when I told her that it wasn't what I ordered she got haughty and said that I I was wrong, they changed my order but my huaracheThey didn't add cream or lettuce even though the menu says it includes it, the very haughty waitress said that if I wanted it they would charge me extra; We ordered a margarita, the most ridiculous drink I've ever seen in an old fashion half way

$21.00 for taco dinner was a little steep and the rice and beans had no flavor.

The music is a bit too loud for my taste and the food is a bit too sloppy, but it's a decent hole-in-the-wall jointParking: decent sized parking lot, but a bit tight for trucks
