(*Bistro hours at the end!) - It’s a “Bistro,” with a limited menu, not a full scale restaurant. I checked in late and appreciated they were still open! The Cobb Salad was good for me. They do have a FULL BAR, and poured a very nice Bacardi & Coke for me! The next morning I designed a Breakfast Bowl from their menu, and had a drip coffee. I was not able to finish the entire breakfast, it was VERY GOOD! (See photo). CURRENTLY breakfast hours are M-F, 6:00 AM-9:30...
The hotel was only a half mile from the Chicago Botanic Garden which is where we were going to Lightscape. It was the perfect location, hotel was very clean and Rebekah the General Manager could not have been more helpful. I had a ticket issue which she resolved for me and she made sure I got the best room rate possible. All with a great smile on her face. I would highly recommend this hotel.
We were very impressed both times we stayed at this property over the last couple months. Even while they were under construction, the staff was very accommodating and helpful. On both occasions we were recognized as reward members and provided rooms that met our needs. We were especially appreciative that the rooms were renovated with updated amenities. We have found our go-to property whenever we are in the area for Ravinia or the Botanical Garden.
