Service painfully slow but they were clearly understaffed. Very inattentive. Hard to get the waiter when we wanted to order. Fajitas were mediocre. Chips were greasy. We will not be returning. There are much better choices in the area.
Drinks are not very good. Low quality alcohol and sugary. Service was very slow, which I get in the climate we are in today. Our server had zero personality. The chips tasted like they had been fried in old grease. Our appetizer came so overcooked it was not edible. Overall, the food is just ok. There is one choice for dessert, churro. I was afraid to order it for fear it would taste as bad as the chips. The only good about this restaurant is the atmosphere. It has a very vacationy vibe. I will not be returning and I would not recommend.
Great food. Great atmosphere. Great server. But... to the manager.... please make sure no crumpled napkins under table you seat me at, menu comes clean without salsa on it and chair doesn't have salsa on it. We will definitely be back but these things do matter. Thank you.

Guacamole was a thimble size order They only serve 3 tortillas w queasi fondido The frajitas do not come sizzling Will not return
The steak fajitas were a little bit spicy and no taste. The sauce its cooked in adds no flavor. The restaurant should have on it's menu combination shrimp and steak, steak and chicken fajitas. The rice was tasteless and very dry. The restaurant is pretty .
Overall nothing special. Food was okay but portions were small and prices high. Patio dining was nice but service was spotty.
Nice atmosphere outside although they crammed tables pretty close to each other. Good wait staff, but she/he was given too many tables for a full house on Saturday night, so be patient. Food was very good; good selection of appetizers/main courses. Seemed to lack a little Mexican spices/salsa and our waiter was too busy to ask to get a side cup of salsa. We'd go again but not on a weekend. There are some other Mexican places in Highland Park that are less expensive, Diver Cantina is a little more upscale in ambiance.
Very girly pretty place to sit a while with good sangria! The chips are not fresh or hot, the salsa is skimpy at best ( they don't give you a cup or bowl it's like a tablespoon) and not very tasty, black beans only, and tasteless rice. So it's all about atmosphere

First and last time there. The food was okay, ambiance okay, very noisy. Service was very poor. Waitress was nice and pleasant but waited a long time until she initially came then long wait for drinks. Did not see her again until almost finished our meal which was too late to order another drink. Waited long time for a check. Other than that it was fine. I wish them well
Great energy, service and pleasant open room. Guac was good but hamachi ceviche was a low point. Fish tasted terrible. Server was gracious about it. Tortilla soup was delish though my daughter's enchiladas were meh.
Absolutely delicious. Food and cocktails were fabulous. Beautiful space. Service needs improvement. We sat for a long time before receiving water. Our server was nice but seemed overloaded. Pay people well and attract more and better talent.
This restaurant was such a find! Very conveniently located next to the movie theater, the ambiance was wonderful with a very friendly and accommodating host. All of the wait staff were friendly and professional. Food was excellent and, in my opinion, reasonably priced. I'll definitely be going back.
This restaurant has such potential but considering the reviews regarding service go back months and it is still an issue I am not sure I will return. It look over 25 minutes to be greeted and then another 20 minutes to get drinks. We watched a few tables get seated and after not seeing anyone, they just left. It took 2+ hours for a dinner that should have only been 1 hour max. Everything was slow and they were very understaffed, I felt bad for the server who seemed to be the only one working the very full patio.
