Traditional American Diner and part of the Route 66 nostalgia. Good food, decent portions, polite and friendly staff. Decorated in the bric-a-brac associated with travel on the open roads and highways of the USA. Worth a visit for the good food or the atmosphere.
Regular small town diner. Great value for your money, accommodating staff, and various specials all the time. I don't overly enjoy the food to be honest (it reminds me of under seasoned hospital food), but it's not that bad. I still stop by occasionally when I'm in a rush and want good value, just make sure you are not picky or bring lots of hot sauce.

Of note, avoid the fries. I can eat about anything there, but the fries are pretty poor.
Highland Diner is definitely a local favorite. How can you beat the classic stainless steel American diner? The food is always hot and fresh. We've never had a bad meal. It's a cozy and inviting and you're guaranteed to get full.
