My partner ordered 2 orders of wings from Buffo's and made sure to ask the woman on the phone if they were breaded and would be safe for someone who has an allergy to gluten. The woman ensured my partner that they are safe for someone who is gluten free (I also heard her say this over the phone). When we opened the boxes, they were clearly coated with something and not gluten free. My partner called the restaurant to ask if they can remake the wings so they are gluten free or if we could get a refund. The woman on the phone was incredibly rude and handed the phone to someone else who was extremely dismissive and crude, saying they would not give us a refund and then hung up on us. We called back and asked to speak with the manager who refused to take responsibility for his staff and mistake and told us that they would make us other food, but it had to equal to the price of the wings and if it was less than, they would not provide us with the difference. When we walked in, the front staff were overly bad-mannered, impolite, and callous. I am very aware that restaurants cannot promise 100% gluten free and this is not the problem. The staff seem to be so unaware of their ingredients and are willing to gaslight their customers into thinking they are in the wrong, when their staff made a mistake. This could have been easily resolved, instead, the restaurant tried to take advantage of us.We will not be going back due to the disgusting customer service and their complete dismissal of food allergies and sensitivities.Dietary restrictions: AWFUL - DON'T TRUST THEIR FOOD OR WORD ON IF THEIR FOOD IS OKAY FOR YOUR DIETARY RESTRICTION.

You're directed on how to order (from a menu on the wall) at the counter, receive your drinks etc. a little confusing and not very friendly at the counter area.Six of us met here for a bite to eat before heading to the Lightscape at Chicago Botanical Gardens.Pizzas, pasta, salad were just ok. The ladies who delivered the food and cleaned the table were super sweet.I would describe this place as more of a take out venue

Like the Italian beef on garlic bread. Very tasty.Hard to find a good Philly cheese steak around here. One good option is to get the Italian beef here chopped and grilled with grilled onions, mushrooms, peppers and cheese. Came out great!

Pizza is great...Beef is a 2 of 10. Sport peppers and not giardinera?The beef was overcooked! That's like basic"don't do". Hot dog was as uninteresting, and chili dog was so-so. So dissapointed in Beef combo, Portillos is far better but a 10 minute ride.

Stopped here on the way home and it was very good. I would recommend it to anyone who is passing through. We went on a Friday evening around 5:30cpm and it wasn't very busy. The food took a little longer to come out but overall I would recommend it.

Food was good, sweet potatoes were excellent but their staff apparently can't get an order right to save their life. They messed up three different aspects of a simple order for two people, and we were the only customers! And that's not even counting not asking us what we wanted on our hot dog. Staff is asleep at the wheel.
