I had not been to Del Rio in quite some time. I took my family there as all my kids were home for the holidays for a bit of nostalgia. Del Rio has a comforting old school Italian feel. Unfortunately, we were seated on the second floor. The second floor is really a very tired space. The decor needs to be changed out and the chairs were very uncomfortable. The service was very slow. It took forever just to get a drink. My martini was not drinkable. I am absolutely sure that it was only straight gin and that they forgot the vermouth. Even the blue cheese olives were bad. Unfortunately, the food was not nearly as good as I remembered it to be. The pasta prosciutto was really terrible. The prosciutto did not seem fresh and the cream was overwhelming. The salads were tiny. Our entrees were completely pedestrian and not worth going out to dinner for. We will not be going back.

A Classic! Family run for over one hundred years. You can see, taste, and appreciate why. Our server Stella is fifth generation from the original family. Her lovely mother stopped by to say hello too. Eggplant Parmesan, Halibut in butter sauce, Alfredo and Spaghetti. So delicious! No room for dessert!!

A great traditional Italian restaurant with old fashioned (in a good way) service that is attentive and polite. Nice warm atmosphere that was busy but not to loud you corner talk with your dinner companions.

Usually love his place. Seems there was a problem in the kitchen. Understaffed and according to our waitress, a language barrier from the chef. Food took a long time to come out. Not always correct, not warm enough and under seasoned. A real miss. Will go back at some point because I have had many wonderful meals there but it won't be for a while as I shake off mediocre experience.

The food and wine were outstanding. The service was superb. We discovered new things on the menu that we hadn't tried before and the experience was wonderful. I eventually want to try everything on the menu; I have not been disappointed yet. This restaurant is a gem.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Listening to Carl at the piano was a special delight to further enjoy the evening. Highly recommend especially on a Wednesday when they have music.
