Wonderful holiday meal. We go to this restaurant often and especially on holidays. The food is always of high quality and well prepared. The service is always attentive but not intrusive. Very family and group oriented. Everyone is friendly and always professional. A good way to spend a holiday evening.

This was our first time dining at Disotto. At first, the experience with our server wasn't the greatest, and we felt a bit disappointed. However, after mentioning it, Justin the manager stepped in, and everything changed. He was immediately attentive, welcoming, and made us feel truly seen. He checked on us often to make sure we were taken care of, and we clicked with him right away. He and my spouse even chatted about restaurants and his trip to Mexico. The entire experience shifted for the better. I didn't want to leave with a bad impression, and I'm so glad it turned into a great night. When we were heading out, the bartender, Jose, joked about having one more drink before going home. We ended up sitting at the bar, and just like Justin, he was wonderful. We talked until closing, and he made the end of the night just as enjoyable. We will honestly be back. We ended up loving the staff, and we're glad we chose this restaurant for our first visit. It definitely won't be our last.

The branzino was so overcooked it looked like fried salmon. Dry and crispy. So loud we couldn't hear our friends nor they us. Waitress was unkempt. Had many nice dinners here but this was horrendous in every respect.

Disotto in Highwood is the best combination of great atmosphere, great food and terrific wines. We have hosted big parties there and also celebrated special family birthdays and anniversaries. The staff is always friendly, and the food is amazing. Most recently, we did a late afternoon "Date night" and sat at the bar. We were early enough, the staff walked us through their favorite recommendations and even let us sample some of the cocktail experiments. They recommended wines that paired really well with the food and we left with plans to come back next week. Highwood is always a fun vibe with some great restaurants, but I'd put Disotto at the top of list for our faves.

Always a great experience at Disotto. Jose took great care of us. This is our neighborhood favorite!

I have dined at DiSoto for years. And, I dine there often. However, this experience was not a usual one for me. I ordered the Pollo Alla Milanese for $40.00. I have never ordered this in the past but had a taste for chicken. It arrived similar to what is pictured on menu on line, visually appealing with a side of pasta with Vodka sauce. I asked for a little grated Pecorino Romano. The waiter stated they didn't not have that. ( They DO as I have had it numerous times there)after that the host/manager came to my table and I again requested the cheese which he brought but it was not grated but shredded. Ok, but that would not incorporate with pasta as it was not warm enough. I cut into the chicken and it was very dry . I took literally one bite and was done with it. The little side of pasta with vodka sauce was basically tasteless. I did not eat the entree. I requested the check, PAID the check (no tip- a first for me) did not take the awful meal to go. Again, this is my first subpar meal at DiSoto. Scott Harris owns this restaurant as well as many others. Francesca's being my favorite, but I truly expected more from DiSoto on this one. I will return but will NEVER order that entree again!

Our food was delicious and our server was excellent, esp dealing with some food allergies. We had a lovely dinner, although it was difficult to hear across the table for 6 at times. Highly recommend!

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary and the entire team made the night a special experience. The food and service are always outstanding but the treatment we received was touching and made the dinner that much more memorable.

I usually love disotto but my Carbonara was watery and there were a lot of flies flying around

First off I need to say, we love this place! We order delivery often and we dine in on occasion. Tonight we ordered our regular prosciutto and arugula pizza but decided to change things up with the linguine mari fruti. We hesitated because of the 40.00 price, but trusted it to be worth it. We were very disappointed, 2 shrimp, a couple overcooked scallops, a few each clams and mussels. The sauce was flavorless. If I were dining in, I would have sent it back. As always the pizza was delicious but, being disappointed in a 40.00 entree is tough to swallow, pin intended.

The ambiance, service, and food were some of the best we’ve experienced on the North Shore! Our waitress, Margo, was fantastic — she knew the menu inside and out, and made sure to check on us every time a dish came out (which was impressively quick!). We also had the pleasure of meeting Nick, who provided equally wonderful service. We’ll definitely be requesting Margo in the future and can’t wait to come back!
