Amazing place for hearty, authentic, clean Mexican food. A small business with a lot of heart and tradition. The food was flavorful, plentiful, and delicious!! Finally found a place in Highwood with pozole! Portions were huge and service was great. Highly recommend!

Best Mexican food around. Great service and warm family atmosphere. Everything was phenomenal and still thinking about it days later. Chicken enchiladas and the chicharron & arabes tacos were some of the stand outs along with outstanding salsa. Looking forward to our next visit.

We drove from Winthrop Harbor passing many, many restaurants to get to Dona Paty's. Food was great! Had a veggie burrito and I think I tasted butter in the mixture. Wow! Atmosphere was festive. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back again. Highly recommend.

Got 4 tacos and was very disappointed in the fatty chucks in the adobe steak tacos. Any place that leaves in heavy fat in their steak for a taco is not a place I want to eat. I’d prefer steak! Not fat…

Taste of Puebla in Highwood. Specialties of Puebla are the tacos árabes and cemitas. The taco árabe took me back to Mexico. Need to come back for the cemita!
