We can't speak highly enough of Froggy's, and specifically Thierry! Froggy's catered our wedding and we have received so many rave reviews about our food. He was great to work with, super knowledgable and very responsive to all our questions throughout the wedding planing process. Thank you so much, Thierry & team!

We went for a team dinner, the parking can be a bit difficult and they have valet BUT if you go around the corner there's a free parking lot. The decor inside was super cozy and welcoming. The staff was very kind and the food and wine was incredible! I'm not sure about the prices but I am guessing it will be on average a $100+ dinner for 2 with drinks. I had the medallions beef dinner item. My colleague who is a vegetarian said her pasta dish with veggies was delicious too!

Worst restaurant I've ever been to. They tried to " bait & switch" what my husband ordered . If a restaurant is out of something, the waiter should let you know and not just bring you something else like they tried to do here. While we were dining 2 other tables sent their drinks back because they tasted " off" . They were out of the 2 beers my husband wanted , so had to settle on a 3rd choice. Waiter did not seem to care that he served us a completely different food item ( he thought my husband wouldn't know the difference between venison and boar and rabbit vs duck) , nor did the manager. He blamed it on it being a Saturday, they are busy. Really?? Not true at all. I've worked in the restaurant business and their service and treatment was unacceptable. My husband told the host , the waiter and even put it on the reservation that it was my birthday. I did not even receive a " Happy Birthday " . Nothing, why ask if you're celebrating something special if you don't even acknowledge it. Next time I will choose to stay closer to home instead of trying a so called " fancy" restaurant.

We had a terrible experience at Froggy's, and we used to love it! The pork tenderloin was tough, dry, and our friends put it in a doggy bag for their dog. The veal and fish were good. Our server was terrible. She spoke so fast that we could barely hear her - we asked her to slow down, and it did not help. She was unresponsive about the pork tenderloin and did not even take it off the bill or offer a dessert on the house. We will not go back.
Overall love it!

Oh, where to begin? TLDR - mediocre food, horrific service, go to Miramar instead. Long version: When we arrived for our reservation, we saw that the outdoor seating was on a cramped sidewalk, so we asked to sit indoors. The hostess made this into an uncomfortable situation, taking 10+ minutes to ‘figure out’ how to change our table in her computer and acting as though it was a huge and exasperating favor (note that the place was empty at this time except for one single occupied table). She asked that we sit at the bar while she figured it out. We did so and ordered cocktails… they came out rimmed with salt rather than sugar (these were sidecars, and this was clearly a mistake, not the intended recipe ?). Once we were finally seated, our waiter approached and immediately gave an impression of inexperience, rapidly/ineffectually rattling off specials and informing us that we would need to order all courses at once (I don’t believe this is a general policy, and not sure why it was imposed on us). We had heard the waiter for the single other table describing fresh oysters, so we asked about those (although the other waiter talked about them in detail and at length, ours hadn’t mentioned them), but she stated that there were none available. At this point the experience was starting to feel unpleasant and we decided to order a variety of appetizers rather than staying for a full dinner. Our waiter was visibly annoyed at this decision - quite rude. We ordered 5 appetizers and another round of cocktails, switching up the cocktail order to avoid the salt catastrophe from earlier. Everything came out together at once despite the fact that we ordered it to come out as each was ready. The food was not bad but certainly not great, and multiple busboys as well as our waiter kept trying to take the plates every 2 minutes until my husband literally had to snap at them ‘We are still eating’. We got the bill and realized they had charged us once again for the round of drinks we’d already paid for at the bar. When we let the restaurant know, the same woman from the hostess stand acted as though she was doubtful that it was true, took 10 minutes to confirm with the bartender that we had indeed already paid, and then finally approached unsmiling and said ‘they’re going to fix it’ - no apology. Would never return or recommend to ANYONE.

Fun place.Sitting in an open-air bar was mostly fun, but there was a lot of traffic, and it overlooks the commuter train tracks. 5 P.M. was not the time to sit there. They do have a nice restaurant inside. The bread pudding , the chocolate cake and the salads were delicious .

Great ambiance, very pretty decor, though it hides the aging of the restaurant. Service was slow for my expectations, but that's only because it was obvious they were short staffed servers. Busboys need to do a much better job, taking the initiative to fill water glasses. One busboy did take initiative as he walked around filled water, but he forgot to look over at our table in which we needed water. I had to wave my hand to get attention of busboys twice. Our server was very good and classy. Soup, salad and appetizer was excellent. Our entrees were excellent as well. Note, they take all of your course-orders at once, versus one at a time. We'll be back.
It's a pleasant setting and good service but the food was just okay, especially for the total price. I had bouillabaisse and my husband had rack of lamb. Have had much better in other French bistros.
One of my favorite restaurants. Have been coming here for years with my family. It has felt like another home to me. The staff are a pleasure to talk to. The mushroom ravioli got me to enjoy mushrooms.

A fixture among Highwood's outstanding restaurants, Froggy's has been around for decades and has not lost any of its luster or originality. The food is fresh, creative, and delicious. The presentation is artistic and elegant. And the service is impeccable. A very special place.
