Best rack of lamb in the City. I’ve gone here since a child and I highly recommend it

We hired Froggy's from a list of approved caterers at our venue. They also provided some dessert. Froggy's tried to meet all our requests and people seemed to enjoy the food. The service was attentive during our meal and open bar time. There were some unfortunate issues at the end of the night and a missing cake, but Froggy's did their best to resolve them (for example, making a new cake top for us to enjoy on our first anniversary).

We dined at Froggy’s on Valentine’s Day, and had a wonderful time! This was our first time ever here, even though Froggys has been here for over 40 years! The interior is warm and inviting and we were welcomed in and seated promptly. Our server Peter was terrific all night, personable, knowledgeable and attentive. The food was truly a delight! We had Beef Wellington and Chicken Cordon Blue. Both were delicious and our overall experience was really great. We highly recommend this place and we will be back!

Everything was wonderful. Being greeted by the chef and owner made us feel at home. The decor is superb and adds to the French bistro atmosphere. Our server, Peter, was excellent both in professionalism as well as friendliness. The foood was extraordinary, and we thoroughly enjoyed the special app of chicken quenelle, and special entree of veal and pheasant. Unique and memorable! The choice of wines was wide, and pricing a value. Food choices were extensive, and they offered enough non-seafood items to give my wife many possibilities (seafood allergy!) Overall, thecc vs evening was spectacular and we look forward to returning! Thank you!!

Froggy's, what happened to you? I see now why you were more than half empty on a Saturday night. Same charming room; inexperienced, but delightful server; interesting sounding specials, that failed to deliver; warm hospitality. Food was subpar (most egregious: overcooked duck breast way past well done. really? must I specify rare duck breast in a French restaurant?). Bus service was lacking. How many times do we have to request water refills? - it was never done without asking). Empty plates sat on the table as the next course was served; empty cocktail glasses were there the entire evening. And to receive a nonitemized bill for 4 people who'd ordered 3 courses each plus wine or cocktails? No idea if we even got the right check as the other couple were our guests and we didn't want to ruin their evening by making a fuss. We love our dining companions, so had a wonderful evening regardless. Thanks for letting us sit after dinner in a lovely spot. Sure wish the food and service were half as good as the ambiance and hospitality.

This establishment takes one back 25 - 50 years when fine restaurants were owned by an individual who also was the head chef, included, white tablecloth, dignified atmosphere by staff and patrons ... all leading to a "special night out" with much class. Of course, the quality of the food is also of great relevance ... and on this score, Froggy's is No. 1. Too bad Froggy's is one of the last remaining top drawer dining establishments from a bygone era.

Froggy's is one of our "go-to" choices for special occasion dinners. The ambiance in the dining room is elegant but comfortable, the food is always wonderful and their servers are the best!!

Service was exceptional. Wait staff was very responsive and polite. Owner came to our table to ask how we were doing. We didn't use valet service, but the valet driver called after us and wished us a good evening as we were walking away.

Wonderful food, very knowledgable service. We wanted to pace ourselves and our server completely understood and checked with us when we wanted the next course. Helped us pick an appropriate wine. We sat out in the atrium patio - the ambiance was very nice, especially with the fire burning and low noise levels. Very easy to talk and listen to my spouse. Main courses were outstanding - some of the dinner specials for that evening. Our go to dining experience for our special occasions or with good friends.

What a treat! We had a 5:30 reservation on a Saturday night. The service was impeccable. We had a few drinks ( their Moscow Mule was perfection) and ordered the Lobster Bisque. It was very good, but missing the chunks or pieces of lobster I expected…it was only cream soup. We then ordered our entrees, Medallions of Beef Tenderloin and Rack of Lamb. My beef was the best I have had. The mushroom sauce added the perfect touch to the nearly fork tender beef. Everything on our plate was seasoned to perfection. No need to add salt or pepper. We were so pleased with everything, we will be back again and again. There is street parking, but for $5, pull to the front and they will valet park your car.

Love this charming restaurant that transports me to France for a few hours. Great service, great food, great ambience. For us, worth the Metra trip from the city for a delightful afternoon.

My husband and I dined at Froggy's on Christmas Eve, and it was magical. We sat in the small room in the front, very quaint and quiet. Started with the best French Martini I've had in years. The service was top notch and the food was fantastic, even on a holiday! All the while we were quietly serenaded by a male singer with piano. This is our new go-to for Christmas Eve and romantic dinners.
