Nice warehouse and outdoor patio in Downtown Highwood. Not sure if this was once a full-blown brewery with their own brews, but they had a majority of Ballast Point beers on tap, cans, and merch for sale, and only two Kings & Convicts specific brews. I get the partnership, and not sure if everyone is aware, but some uniqueness would be nice.

Came to check out this brewery. It's not much of a place to be honest, but it has the space for entertainment such as golf games. Kings & Convicts is a place in Highwood that's hidden away amongst warehouses. Fun atmosphere however, about as much as they're able to make it. There's no food, but plenty of places around it to get some. Basic looking place that looks a lot like a garage. It seems pretty bare to be honest. The most entertaining thing is a golf simulator. Actually swing your arms and play it. The beers are why we came though. It's about $6 a pint. There's not that much of a selection. Among the few was the Captain Freelove Blonde Ale. Easy to sip and to chug actually: smooth taste. Also it has no food. There's a few places to go get something and bring to eat here. Even though it's not much of a brewery, it still has a few great beers. It has a pretty fun golf simulator. This place would be good for parties or whatever.

Very disappointing. Not Brewing in this location. This is essentially a distribution point for Ballast Point that was purchased by K&C. All beer is brewed in San Diego at BP facilities. Beer is good, but don't waste your time unless you want drink in a garage or on a driveway. Bartender was apathetic and not knowledgeable. Try their beer at a nice place as it's from kegs anyway.

After lunch, my wife and I decided to go check out a brewery we've never been to. We came across The Kings & Convicts Brewing Co. in Highwood. This place has tasty beer options and fun games for entertainment. We played bags and enjoyed their amber ale. There's also golf simulators and footballs to throw around. Fun place for friends to get together and hangout. The staff was chill, down to earth, and friendly. They even have a cute corgi pup named Pickles who sometimes hangs out keeping the place safe. The brewery has some cool merch too for sale.

Very large and friendly brewery. Mostly Ballast point beer, hard to complain about fresh top tier west coast brews. Increasing their own Kings and Convicts brews, larger scale than local microbrews but remain high in quality and prices are very fair. Golf simulators for this inclined. Very family and dog friendly.

We rented out K and C for my 50th. What an awesome time! Dillon, the manager was beyond accommodating. He went way above and beyond to help make our party a success. The space is pretty much a blank canvas to do what you like, and the golf with bags games adds a really nice touch. If you are looking for a fun space for 20-50 people I highly recommend Kings and Convicts. Thank you for a great time!

This is an awesome place. It does not serve food but it delivers very quickly from nearby restaurants and shops. The simulator was good. A little buggy but had some good courses out there. They only have a couple of their own beers on tap while the rest are from Ballast Point. Price is definitely worth it and you’re free to stay as long as you like if there’s no one else occupying the simulator after you. Highly recommend.
