The chips and salsa were really good but that’s about it. Ordered 3 different entrees to try and everything was bland. The rice was pretty much white rice, it had no vegetables or even an orange color like Mexican rice anywhere else. Very plain

Just ok tacos. It’s amazing how much business this place gets. The steak meat was greasy with grizzle. Little meat in the tacos. Fish tacos were good, not great. They provide two tortillas for each taco, probably to soak up the grease. After this meal my children learned to appreciate home cooking.

Gave it another try after a couple years away. Solid stuff. I think they should just offer a standard onion and cilantro prep for more of the tacos; the fish options sound good and I’m sure they’ll do it however I want, but I hate having to ask for this not that. Three salsas, the avocado green is surprisingly hot. Last night we had quesadillas which are enormous and stuffed full of your protein. Open later than most places these days. Would like to try the birria.

Excellent food and wonderful staff. I’m a 40 minute drive from Highwood and would make the trek just to eat here. Tacos were phenomenal as was the asada quesadilla.

The wife and I were craving some tacos this spot came recommended by one of my many sisters so we decided to take the drive and check em out we had the vampiros, tacos de arrachera, asada, al pastor, and a torta de arrachera all tacos con cilantro and cebolla of course and to wash it all down una agua de tamarindo the arrachera is really well seasoned as well as the asada but when it came to the al pastor it was slacking some flavor the torta was delicious but personally when I think of a torta it should have the works lettuce tomato onion aguacate cream or mayo if your a fan and what ever else it come with but this one didn’t have tomato or onion now we think of this as standard but hey everyplace is different and I’m pretty sure we could’ve added it if we asked but the salsas were delicious especially if you mix them now we’re definitely mixers here the vampiros were out of this world and we even tried to recreate them here at home and were very successful their tamarindo agua is delicious and doesn’t miss but since the first time we tried it we’ve gone back at least 4 times there location is beautiful they have amazing outdoor seating with some nice lights to light up the night my only complaint is I wish they were opened later as the wife and I work pretty late some days

My favorite local taco place! I've struggled to find something that tastes authentic since moving from Texas and this definitely hits the spot! Fast and yummy! Great prices! Such a cute and cozy atmosphere!

Great service. I recommend the plancha shrimp, tinga, soy chorizo, mahi mahi tacos, and birria. But really you can't go wrong
Vegetarian options: Soy chorizo taco is excellent as is the guac taco as is the veggie burrito
