Been eating here nearly 50 years. Always a high quality experience. My family loves this restaurant.
I used to go here when I was a kid. I have been here twice in the last year. The first time was not the greatest. The second time I had the chicken Vesuvio and it was pretty good. The atmosphere is just old and dated. The booths are the worst. They are so small, I don’t know why they don’t put some money into the place and redo it

The ribs were outstanding, just how I remember them, from 50 years ago. The Cesar salad was delicious, too... just the right amount of dressing for so.eone who always requests dressing on the side.
Always a good time! Sit in the bar room. Very important for the Nitengale vibe. Have kids? Don’t sit in the bar room. Sit in the other dinning room where you’ll be able to hear your kids talk. The food? Never had a bad meal. I’d venture to say that this Resturant is amoung the top three in Highland Park.

First time I’ve been here but had a very nice time with my wife. Reminds me of the Supper Club era. Food was very good but service was really good. I had fish and my wife had ribs. Both delicious. Menu is huge!

Local spot with huge portions. Service is very attentive from the moment you walk in. My steak was cooked perfect but broccoli should have been cooked better. Overall great value for the servings and price in this old style
