Love the authentic Pho! Can't get any more of their authentic soups and the wait staff were amazing! Definitely coming back for more!

I came here wanting to dine in, but this place is carry out or catering only. The staff was nice. The place is kind of a hole in the wall. There are a couple seats for you to wait for your food. Sadly, the food was not satisfactory. We ordered the Cha Gio, which was the best thing that we ate that day. The filling was good and it tasted ok. We got pork banh mi and Bun To. The pork was very dry and over cooked. It was almost boiled? To add to the dryness, they added sesame seeds that did not help the mouth feel. The same pork was used in the banh mi, bun to and the banh xeo. The other veggies and herbs ingredients were fresh. The Banh Xeo was so greasy served with that overcooked pork. There were just a few shrimps that were ok. Overall- disappointed. A few stars given for fresh ingredients.

Got something from this little Vietnamese place that was only a carryout. It's pretty small, making it a place to make your orders to go. Pho Nam Bac just by default is the best place in Highwood for Vietnamese. Has a lot of the favorites including pho and more. This is a good place for vegetarians and those eating noodles and things. Came in to get carryout. It's order at the counter, so you can't eat inside. The inside would be a pretty crummy place to eat though. Only has a couple tables, which are where they keep the condiments. They have some pretty healthy options. It's about $14 for an entree. Lots of classics like pho. I got the Rice Noodle Bowl. This had bean sprouts, cucumbers, and lettuce, along with a choice of protein, and I got it with tofu. Pretty big pieces of tofu in it. These were firm and just a little crispy, and it tasted even better than it looked. Even though it's a crummy looking counter order place, I would still order from here again. It's pretty good quality food. They run things pretty cheaply so the atmosphere sucks, but it's to go so whatever.

The best Vietnamese/French sandwiches we've ever tasted. This is pretty much a carry out place. We've also tried the noodle soup which was excellent

Excellent food and friendly service! We love Pho ("Fah" not Foh) and we'll definitely come back!

Ordered $80 of food, included a tip, went to pickup after e-mail confirmation of payment and pickup time - no food prepared, and "restaurant " didn't care. Woman could not have been ruder, did not offer to problem solve and refused to process refund. I have been a supportive and regular customer since the place opened and I have always recommended to others. I have never been treated so rudely and dismissively - stunningin the end - they are just shameless thieves

Completely amateur joint. Get wrong orders for pickup, don't have anywhere to sit (though website says different), can't fix the correct food... where to start? Avoid avoid avoid. Unless you like wasting your money.

Fantastic beef pho. We got meatballs and brisket. I'd give five stars but the shrimp spring rolls just had too many noodles inside of it. And I wanted a piece of mint but that's just me. the pho was outstanding

First time here or any Vietnamese restaurant. Got the beef PHO and Chicken PHO. Both were fantastic but have nothing to compare it to and it was over $30 for both again not sure what to compare it to. With that said it is a full meal and really enjoyed. Will be back for sure and will recommend.

The pho was good, I was surprised to have a decent restaurant in the burbs.I would order again.

Ordered chicken pho. Chicken has no taste and broth is way too sweet. If you're desperate for pho then come on by. Otherwise go elsewhere.

Enjoyed a delicious banh mi with tofu, the veggies and the bread were very fresh. Looking forward to trying the beef pho next.
