This place is a jewel in Highwood. Many of the staff have worked here for years and they always greet you with a smile. I've never had a bad meal, it's always full of families.

Definitely a 10/10. Decided to dine in today, sat a the bar where I was greeted and served by Carmen. She is great, she made sure to check on us since the beginning. We had the Carne Asada which was phenomenal and the tacos unfortunately are not in the picture since I ate them right away (the taco meat was warm and the ingredients were fresh)

Fernando is the most amazing server. The food is always fresh and authentic. Best guacamole on the North Shore.

Vegetarian options: Mexican food is easily adaptive to vegetarians .

Parking: Spots become a bit more difficult later in the evening but there is a turn over

Kid-friendliness: Children are welcome and booths are available for families.
