The food at Vari’s is simply delicious!
The chicken is cooked to perfection and I love the greens and sweet potatoes.
I definitely recommend Vari’s for lunch or dinner.

Happen to be in the area from Fort Worth, Texas where] soul food restaurants don't really exist] for our 60th Family Reunion up in Hillside, IL and the food was good, had a great taste, the gravy was a 10/10 and the fried ribs and the greens were 10/10, the gravy and rice 10/10 and the Mac and Cheese was 8/10, other than that, the food was 10/10 on portions, and if I ever come back to the area I would come back!!!!

The food tasted amazing and the service was good. It's a small family owned business with a mission to help youth and provide traditional southern eats. The Soulf Food Egg Roll is technically rectangle. The Catfish is breaded and seasoned properly and quite tasty. The food was very good.
