Pizza was over an hour late and there was a piece of what looked like hardened plastic in my cheese! This was a couple of months ago. I haven’t been back since then!
I ordered a pizza not too long ago but it never showed up even though it was during business hours. I called a few times to see what may be going on but no one answered
This was our first visit to Brian's Pizza. To put it simply, we had excellent service and great tasting food! The staff were all very friendly and inviting. We ate in the restaurant and waited about 10-15 minutes for toasted ravioli and a 12" taco pizza both of which were served hot and fresh! Everything was great and we plan on going back sometime. Overall, a very nice place to have some good food and a couple beers!
Super friendly staff. Absolutely amazing food and service!!!
Great food! A little on the high side cost wise, but still worth every penny.
Has gone down hill since the new owners. Delivery is never right always forget things go to the wrong house and food is just terrible now. Its sad.
Ordered Parmesan nuggets and the special pizza. DELISH!!! The owners were very friendly and made us feel welcome!
Over 2 hrs delivery when we r 5 minutes away. New driver understand. But why was we given the same food cold and nasty. We use to really like the food. But if they dont care that they served food that was prepared 2 hours prior to being delivered to their customers then we dont care to return.
Used to order from here 2-4 times a month. Different things, beefs, pastas, pizzas. Since new ownership took over, quality has went downhill. When i order a pizza loaded up with toppings, like the "special", i expect it loaded with toppings, especially when it costs more. The amount of toppings is so small, the amount of green pepper was probably only 1/4 of a green pepper on a large pizza. Pepperonis should be roughly 1 per piece, maybe got 1 per 3 pieces. Whoever took over needs to listen and learn from these reviews. These are not just people trying to talk bad about a restaurant, they are loyal customers who used to like the food, things changed, and its not as good, plain and simple. Delivery and service for me has always been good but when the food isnt that great, im not going to order it. Best advice I can give is watch some restaurant impossible or kitchen nightmare shows and take some tips. Get motivated, I can taste the carelessness. If something doesnt change I dont see your business lasting very long, small town, small area, food better be great or nobodys going to buy it.
We have given the new owners chance after chance. We have experienced multiple burnt pizzas that had to be thrown away without eating. Also, I have been hung up on. Worst service I have had.
Restaurantji Recommends
It’s a real shame what’s happened to a once popular restaurant. The quality of the food is atrocious compared to when Brian ran the place. Have ordered a few different dishes over the last 6 months thinking maybe there would be improvement but sadly no. I highly recommend avoiding this place
The other day I was at a party that had ordered a pizza from Brian’s. When the pizza arrived it was incredibly undercooked and had orange dots in the crust. When we flipped over the inedible pizza we found out those orange dots were yeast bugs. The pizza dough was full of those bugs. It was disgusting. For this to have happened the owners must be incredibly incompetent and lazy. This shouldn’t have been served to their patrons. For your safety I wouldn't recommend eating there unless you want to be served overpriced poison. When the party host called to complain to the owners the phone wasn’t answered. They tried multiple times but their calls to the restaurant were never answered. This, at best, is food poisoning with high ticket price. I refuse to order from there ever again
You can expect growing pains for restaurants that had a management change, but now that many months have passed, Brian's Pizza is still a far cry from what it was back with Brian as the owner. The pizza cheese and dough have been changed and not for the better. It feels as though new management is sacrificing flavor for cheaper ingredients and recipes. Brian and the longstanding manager Kyle are both gone, wait times have increased exponentially, and the food is subpar. You use to be able to get a pizza for pickup in 15-20 minutes
My wife and I visited Brian's Pizza this weekend from Joliet and were quite impressed with the ol' school thin crust pizza! You can taste the garlic in the sauce. It's hard to find a pizza this good without having to go into the city. Plus Mark and his wife were gracious hosts--friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was very clean--even the kitchen. We will be back.
Definitely recommend! I went here with my family tonight ! AMAZING pizza, very good bread sticks and really juicy wings! Everyone was so friendly, definitely would eat here again
