We recently moved to the area and absolutely love this pizza. It’s thin crust and reminds me of the pizza I used to get when living in New York- absolutely delicious. Also zero bloating after eating. Pizza of my dreams.

I am very disappointed with my experience. I placed my pizza order online for pick up the next day. When I arrived, the staff couldn’t find my orders ( it took 5 min to find) and told me to wait another 20 min. What made the situation worse was the rude and unfriendly attitude of the employees.

The only pizza we get anymore. Every else is a distant second. The magic is in the crust. Unreal. I think they import it from Italy. It’s also the only pizza that doesn’t make you feel bad about yourself after eating it. Takeaway only to bake. That said, you can’t get any better, even in Chicago

We ordered two trays of small paninis for our party, and they were absolutely amazing! We had schiacciata with mortadella and sundried tomato with burrata spread, and ciabatta with pesto, prosciutto, arugula, and fresh mozzarella. Both were so fresh, light, and delicious, and everyone at the party loved them. They were the perfect size for serving a crowd and were not too heavy. I would definitely order them again for another event!

The Margherita pizza was outstanding! The quality of the ingredients really stands out, and every bite was fresh and full of flavor. What impressed us even more was the exceptional customer service. The staff kindly accommodated us by making our pizza and allowing us to pick it up just five minutes before closing.
I wish every pizza tasted this amazing! We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Italian food and great service.

I brought home a container of red gravy (tomato sauce ). My grandparents were from Sicily and I hadn’t had red gravy like that, unless I made it myself, in probably 30 years! So happy to know it’s so readily available. And we were able to bring home a pizza made with vegan cheese. What an amazing place. Can’t wait to go back.
Both pizzas that we ordered last night were excellent. We had another couple over and they raved about the pizza. We will be back!! On another note, the owner was so nice and friendly when I came in to pick up the pizzas. Thank you very much!!

Love their take and bake pizzas; they have the best crust and sauce anywhere around. Their Verdura Bianca con Salsiccia pizza (mascarpone with Italian sausage) is so delicious and unique - just ask them to go easy on the kale. You won’t be disappointed!

Altamura pizza has completely changed pizza night at our house. The quality and flavor are incredible — authentic, fresh, and honestly some of the best tasting pizza we’ve made at home. It cooks perfectly in our pizza oven, which makes it super convenient whether we’re hosting friends or just trying to get a fast weeknight dinner on the table.
It’s always a huge hit at parties, and our family especially loves hosting Carmela for pasta and pizza-making nights. There’s something so fun and special about gathering around the kitchen together, making pizzas, pastas, and sharing great food. Altamura makes it easy, delicious, and memorable every single time.

We are particularly particular with what flours we eat, Importing quality food and accommodating allergies in our household- not to mention avoiding some of the toxic things that are put into the grains and food here in America. we have an affinity for Italy and all things authentic Italian food and wine. Altamura checks all the boxes with fresh ingredients, imported Durum wheat flour and a great selection or italian wines, oils and treats. we love the friendly staff and the management. I hope they never leave! Really looking into doing a home cooking/pasta party at some point
