We are semi regulars at Nabuki, meaning we go once a month or so. We found on this trip, the service was not it's usual top notch. We sat in the bar and it was not packed, but it was busy. We were sat immediately, waited about 5-10 minutes for someone to take our drink order. We then ordered a couple of apps, which one came out quickly, and one did not...The waiter came back and asked "if he could get us anything else" and we told him that our other app didn't...
Our first time dining at Nabuki . We were seated promptly upon arrival. Drinks were ordered and brought quickly. The appetizers were the star of the night with the jalepaneos amazing. My wife ordered salmon which was overcooked, two of us ordered scallops and were disappointed in the mashed potatoes they were served on ( rice would have been preferable) and our fourth ordered noodles which she enjoyed. If we go again we would order only appetizers.
Great experience, the food was delicious and we enjoyed the fresh sushi. But, what I think made our experience unforgettable was our server Ange. He recommended amazing rolls that really elevated or dinner.
