You'd think I'd didn't notice? It's karaoke night
i know you don't usually take singers out of rotation, but when it comes to the last singer of the night?
It turned out that I was supposed to be next as the last singer of the night, but I was taken out of rotation for another singer to close out the show.
After all the money I spent on food and drinks to support the bar to pay for karaoke. ..
I wouldn't really care so much if I didn't spend any money.
I only spend money on food to pay Frankie even when I wasn't even hungry... I also tip well too.
Well at least I think I do.
I was a karaoke KJ for many years in Chicago in the mid it's. 90's.
But the food is great here.
After what I so tonight, I think it's time to try new karaoke places.

Was intending on picking up my sister from her work party, but it was so relaxing ended up needing an Uber home for each of us. It's big but not deafening professional yet felt like a place you have been going for years. Oh and loved our bartender she was professional as well as kind and personable.

We recently held my husband's 50th birthday party at Bar Down, and the experience was awesome! The Poplar Creek/Bar Down team was wonderful to work with. Amy, the party planner, explained the space well, was very nice and accommodating. Bar Down has several different areas available which include high top tables, regular tables and a game room with comfy couches and giant Jenga which was popular with the kids. Bar Down has very high ceilings which made the space feel very open and inviting. The food was GREAT (and it went FAST); we had a nacho bar, fried cheese curds and potato skins as well as ordering a few pizzas a little later into the evening. Many guests commented on the tasty food and refreshing cocktails (they even have Jello shots which were a great throwback to our younger years). 10 out of 10, would definitely go again and refer friends.

We had a wonderful time attending a high school reunion at this venue. The bar staff provided excellent service, which added to the overall experience. Although the evening felt short, the time spent reconnecting with friends from 40 years ago was absolutely amazing. We're already looking forward to the 50th reunion. To all the Hoffman Estates Alumni, it was truly a pleasure for my wife and me to share such a memorable evening with you guys

A party of 12 trying to find a place for lunch and to watch the Buffalo Bills game was tricky! Enter Bar Down ... AMAZING! Bethany was so welcoming and accommodated our Bills fans and our Bears fans too! We had a fantastic lunch and more Coors Light than we care to count! LOL! A super afternoon with my family - THANK YOU!!!

Can’t say enough glowing things about the food, service and atmosphere at Bar Down Sports Bar and Grill. I ordered a pizza with a few friends and was blown away by the quality and timeliness. Never had to wait for a drink, as the staff was courteous and punctual. Since then, I eat there at least once a week and try new menu items as often as I can. Do yourself a favor and try their pizzas!

So it’s Monday night and we’re in the neighborhood and stoped at Bar Down Sports Grill for the first time. We were greeted and waited on by Camille. Such a happy, friendly and joyful personality she had. She constantly checked on us and offered an outstanding service. Food was amazing, we had burgers, nachos and chicken wings. Super fresh and delicious. Now let me tell you what sets this place apart from any other restaurant/bar we’ve been to. Apparently on Monday nights they have musical bingo which is ran by Frank Vito with the Thumbs Up Productions. No, it’s not the bingo you think. He plays songs and you have to guess the titles. And yes, you get paper and markers and you win prizes! Everyone at our table won! The music is off charts good. So much fun! I have to admit that the nachos we ordered, it was because we didn’t want to leave!
This place is awesome but Frank made it memorable. We found out that on Friday nights they have karaoke so now we have to return on Monday nights and Friday nights.You have to try it for the great food but also for the Monday night fun with Frank Vito. And (whispering) Frank works independently so stop by him and say hello.

Walked in, but I couldn't get any service for 20 minutes , so we just left. Doesn't really seem like they focus too much on serving food and more on being a hangout spot that is connected to the bowling alley.
