Have tried every fish/shrimp place we could locate. This is a WINNER. You get nice sized shrimp and a bit larger than bite sized fish. The breading was not super thick or greasy. We have gone twice now to make sure we get the same quality. Other places are over seasoned, greasy, taste of oil. Not this place. Even the way they do their cocktail sauce, I like mine mild, hubby likes his hot. Frank's gives you horseradish on the side to turn up the heat on the sauce if you want. I will continue to go back weekly. Highly recommend. (Don't close the bag and food will stay hot & crispy).

The food is always super fresh and delicious, I come here as often as possible. They have fast service and while the restaurant looks a little sketchy I have been here over a dozen times and it has been very consistent in price and quality. My FAVORITE place to eat

My favorite place for fried shrimp! I first found them working in Burbank IL when I entered the wrong door thinking I was going to order Mexican food for carryout from the restaurant next door. Instead I discovered the best fried shrimp in Chicagoland, and have purchased from 4 of their locations since I have a service business that takes me to different locations. Last night, it was approximately 10 minutes before the Hoffman Estates location closes and I called to see about the possibility of ordering a pound of their shrimp as I was in the area for other reasons. The crew went the extra mile for me on a Saturday night and filled my order I arrived at 9:59. Thanks Franks!

The customer service was great and food was delicious. The only thing I would suggest is getting an updated menu and put some more items on it...I guess I'm just upset because they didn't have popcorn shrimp on the menu. Either way great place to get some seafood. PS....Don't get pizza from a seafood place..lol!!.... ENJOY!!

Always friendly people working at Frank's Shrimp! That's probably because the fried Shrimp and other seafood and side items are so good! They don't have to deal with angry diners. We've been going there for years, haven't ever had a bad meal. You can eat in at the 4-6 small table dining area or take out great fried seafood. Canned sodas and bottled water are available to wash it all down, all at a very reasonable price.

Chanel is kind and provided excellent customer service.This was my very first experience with Frank's Chicago Shrimp. Prior to ordering, I had decided to ask Chanel a few questions. She answered them with professionalism and patience. I ordered a quarter pound (1/4lbs) of the Chicago fried shrimp. She then told me that it would be a few minutes and I said "awesome I'm going to step next door real quick". When I returned to the restaurant, Chanel greeted me and said "hey by the way I overcooked the shrimp by a couple of seconds however I'm cooking you another batch." I was taking aback because I did not expect that at all. Chanel went above what she was supposed to do and she was very honest. She could have easily given me the 'slightly' overcooked seafood but she didn't. And to make this even better experience she gave me both orders.As for the fried shrimp, they were delicious!Thank you Chanel.
