The food took forever. Do no get the fried rice because it will be 50% onions and little to no meat.

Any time you walk into an ethnic restaurant and hear their language as the dominant sound of the dining room, take notice. This traditional self-serve counter Korean restaurant in a strip mall hides amazingly flavorful food. It is a one person operation, like many Asian food stalls, but he manages to keep it moving so you don't feel like you waited forever, and the dining room is a pleasant place with tea available for free. Every tray is completed with a salad, soup, and pickled kimchi vegetable, usually diakon. This mix, along with your entre, gives you those flavor and texture elements that make a great meal.

This was our first foray into Korean food, and it seemed a bit underwhelming. My BiBimBap seemed to lack any seasoning until I added a bunch of gochujang. The Kimchi rice was really good.

Great food! Flavor, taste, temperature are right on. Friendly owner/chef. Meal comes with soup, salad, and radish kimchi. The kids said it was a new favorite restaurant for them. We all enjoyed our dishes- we will definitely be back.

How can you explain hiking prices by $3-5 every so many months? I understand inflation and the popularity of Korean cuisine has something to do with it, but this establishment is simply overcharging unassuming customers for mediocre, cafeteria-style Korean food. These prices are simply unacceptable. If you don't mind eating overpriced Korean food, then this is the perfect spot.

I got the Tteokbokki with the fish cake and ramen (number 21 on the menu). Toy surprise there was even half a boiled egg too! It was delicious! The sauce was sweet, tangy and spicy enough to make my nose run (which is a good thing). It looked just like the dish from a Korean street market I saw on youtube!!! 10/10 recommend!

First time here and the food was great. One man shop with counter service. Ordering was easy as they have photos of the dishes everywhere if you are not familiar with Korean food. And tbh, you can’t really go wrong. Everything we ordered was delicious.

I'm giving 5 stars because this business is a one man band and he makes very good food. This business must be his life. The business is so quirky and abnormal you need to decide for yourself what you care about. See pros and cons.Cons: -It is self-service, including retrieving food, getting free tea, and clean up after -the prices are WAY higher than all the menu photo's I see on yelp. We paid $19.99 for item 1-b and $17.99 for item 4, nothing else, totaling $42.54 with tax, no tip -It's way too expensive for lunch ($20 per person, albeit you got a lot) -one guy does everything so could be a bottleneck if busy (it wasn't) -no fork, just a spoon and chopsticks -no water - BYO water -we went for lunch but if it was dinner I would have wanted beer, wine or other drinks he doesn't offer. If that didn't throw you yet then you are good to go...Pros: -you are supporting an incredibly small business and business owner. -incredible variety of good food being pumped out of one guy in only perhaps 15 minutes -there is nobody to tip -hot and cold tea are free and self-serve -I don't know Korean food but would say this food is very good -you don't get more small business than this - one guy ringing register, cooking, cleaning, probably doing the books at night, cleaning the windows, bath, etc. etc.I hope my wife and I come back - for dinner only.We will try to do BYOB. I don't think the owner would notice or care but perhaps there are ordinances or something so we will be discrete. We would share our "1-b" & "4" meals again or change it up maybe trying one of the stews. And bring water and disposable forks!
