Delicious food. Very friendly servers. This place was just what we needed to relax and eat after a day of traveling. Price was just right. Definitely recommend for the family. The brisket sandwich was on point. My son loved his ribs. He also enjoyed ice cream they gave him complimentary for his birthday. I would definitely recommend if you're passing through the area.

Love this place! We usually order the dinner for two and share it. You have your choice of two different meats and two large sides. The brisket is our favorite! Always delicious! Also love the fried potato salad and the pit beans as sides. Service is always excellent and even the owner comes around and lends a hand. You won't be disappointed here!

I ordered ribs the special on Sundays. Delicious my side was coleslaw also very good. The only complaint was kind of small quarters.
I ordered the brisket and rib combo, along with candied bacon, a drink, and brussel sprouts. The food lacked flavor and smokiness and the candied bacon was overwhelming salty. The brussel sprouts were decent.

My family and I arrived in Chicago from Miami, Florida, to attend a convention at NOW Arena. While we have been in Chicago for a few days and have dined at other restaurants, the moment I entered “SMELL BACON BBO & PUB,” I was enveloped in a welcoming and family-oriented atmosphere. The server, Christina, was exceptional in providing attentive service. The restaurant offers an exceptional dining experience with a wide variety of food options. To all the people saying “there is no taste to the mac and cheese” or “its too dry”, then obviously you have no taste. This was amazing for $13 with tax. Brisket was juicy, mac and cheese tasted quality. I had to make a stop so i didn’t get to eat it until an hour after i picked it up, and it was still warm. Name me another place you can get this much brisket mac n cheese for $13. You can’t.

Brisket platter with cilantro potato salad! BOMB!!!! The brisket melted in my mouth! The potato salad was on point and creamy! Maybe little more dressing in the potato salad but this was a top notch meal best bbq I’ve had in a long time. I laugh now bc o had brisket at mission bbq a few months back. Kinda chewy… thought man that’s how it tastes? Then after coming here I know what it should be like! Slightly fatty melt in your mouth! Great job I’ll be back !!!

I had the Trio Sampler, which was pulled pork, smoked brisket and pulled chicken. It came with creamy coleslaw, cornbread, and fried potato salad. The fried potato salad is deep fried rosemary potatoes, tossed with a spicy cream sauce with onions and bacon. First of all, that fried potato salad was amazing. I never had a potato salad in my life so delicious! That cream sauce, onions, bacon and fried potatoes, what a combination—a little spicy but I loved it! The pulled chicken was tender and very tasty. The pulled pork was perfect in every way. The smoked brisket had those nice smoke rings with a wonderful flavor. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates classic barbecue done right!
