We recently used India House Catering for a special event and were thoroughly impressed. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, with authentic flavors that guests loved. The team was professional, attentive, and handled every detail with ease.

Special thanks to Jagmohan for his outstanding cooking and to Kim for expertly managing the event. Their efforts truly made the occasion seamless and memorable.

We recently hosted a 60th birthday celebration, and India House went above and beyond. They brought in everything we needed, and the food was absolutely outstanding—our guests couldn’t stop raving about it. They took care of every little detail and handled any last-minute requests with ease.

A special shoutout to Jagmohan for his incredible cooking, and to Kim, the downtown India House manager, who also acted as our event manager. The staff was extremely accommodating and perfectly understood our vision. Jagmohan and his team are truly exceptional—highly recommended!

Always tasty and always friendly. We love India House!

Catered for a large group, veg curries such as navratan korma, paneer makhani, and dal makhani were ok. Paneer tikka was good and quantity per dish was good too.

They have a decent buffet

We ordered catering for 15 people, however the food was clearly not enough. On top of that, the food was not very high quality, and the paneer was definitely burnt.

When we contacted the manager the next day, she argued with us, asking why we didn’t call during the night, so the food could be replaced. She didn’t seem to understand that it is not practical to call her during our gathering and getting embarrassed in front of our guests.

We have had positive experiences here before, however this negative experience outweighs the previous ones significantly.

Visited 09/09/24 for Lunch we only 5 people so many mosquitos and when complained the waiter said I can not do anything about this. Very unprofessional. We left without eating.

Excellent food. Can’t wait to try their weekend lunch buffet. Weekday buffet was superb.

Amazing, Amazing… if you are looking for quality Indian food don’t look anywhere else.

Best food in Chicago area Period.

We have been coming here more often in the last couple of years. The serv8ce is good and the food is excellent. We usually order Tandoori Chicken, Samosas, chicken bryanni rice, chicken Tika Masala, etc. We never get disappointed. Their mango juice is phenomenal.

The inside of the store is clean and tidy. The staff is also polite, attentive, and kind. The buffet had a lot of variety and I was very satisfied at lunch time. The freshly made tandoori chicken tastes delicious and you can even get a second helping. The naan is also piping hot and fluffy, which is a great taste. It was a delicious restaurant, just as my friend who recommended it said.
