After nearly 8 hours on the road from Pittsburgh, we were absolutely starving to death walked into this wonderful restaurant cheerfully greeted pampered by the serving staff and fed a most amazing dinner of fresh sushi. Could not be more pleased

Very tasty food. Had the steak and chicken combination and it was so freaking good. Our hibachi chef was amazing. The only thing keeping this from 5 stars is that a woman that looked to be the manager, was the one sitting guests. It was pretty busy considering it was Valentine’s Day but she payed no attention to reservations. Me and my girlfriend and 2 other couples had reservations and have been waiting for more than half an hour as she sat walk in guests that waited 3 minutes at most. This one couple had just walked in and put their name down, manager lady comes back and asks “2?” And then took them to sit at a hibachi table. I tried getting her attention but she didn’t care. I know it was busy but common, have some structure. What was the point in taking in reservations if you aren’t going to look at the list? Horrible manager/ host lady. Amazing servers/chiefs/atmosphere/food. So if you’re coming in on a busy day, make sure you come in extra early even if you have a reservation.

Everyone from the hostess to the bartenders were extremely rude. Bartenders would just ignore you while you looked directly at them for 10 minutes before they would take your order for a drink.Only nice people in the place was our chef he was funny!! and our waitress

My recent visit to the supposed high-end Kyoto restaurant, Hoffman Estates, was disappointing. The sushi chef couldn't identify the type of giant clam. Anyway, I ordered it for sashimi, and it was excessively fishy, prompting me to quickly spit it out – a clear indication that it wasn't sashimi or sushi-grade quality.Additionally, the shrimp with golden sauce, unlike the website photo, was drenched in poured sauce, covering the entire plate like a pizza and leaving an overwhelming amount of excess oil.To compound the disappointment, the bartender was unfamiliar with the term "martini extra dry, no vermouth" and poured extra vermouth. Overall, the experience fell well below the expected standards for a high-end establishment.
