Main Event Hoffman Estates

This place has a lot to offer. Good food, drinks and entertainment. None of which were a let down.. we came on a black Friday evening hoping to get a table and it was way more dead than we thought it would be. All the games we went to were operating, the food was quick and hot, the drinks were awesome. Definitely worth it.

This place is amazing, great service however they need new Bowling Shoes they are all broken and have a terrible smell.

We recently had a birthday party for our 8 year old son here. Overall our boys enjoyed the event, but there are a few things that weren’t ideal in my opinion. They only give you one hour on “party lane” or whatever name they give it. So the kids basically eat and sing happy birthday right at the start of the party. Which we have NEVER done at any venue and we’ve had quite a few parties and have attended a lot of kid birthday parties. The kids repeatedly asking when do they get to go play and when do they get game cards. Kids walk in to this amazing space and see all the activity and of course they want to immediately go play. But instead we had to coax and coral them so that they can eat and sing happy birthday.

Once that hour is up you have to move from the designated party area and you’re thrown to the wolves! You basically have to find some other seating. Which is difficult because you have other parties looking for seating as well. This was a bit much for our son’s grandparents that attended the party.

Our party host Vance was absolutely amazing though! He was very helpful and courteous. When it was over we were given a coupon for a feee game of bowling however it expires next month! So that doesn’t give us very much time to use it. Considering we live over an hour from Main Event. I wish the expiry date was a little further out so that we could plan to visit again.

Overall like I said my son enjoyed his birthday and I guess that is what matters most. But for the price of the party package everything just felt very rushed 😩

Had a good time with the family. The down side was that bowling shoes were separate charge from boling fees and usually this is included and it doesn't specify on the sign.

First and last time here i paid for the all you can play for $25 a person and had to wait a little over 2 hours to bowl and a hour to Lazer tag I didn’t realize there was such a long waiting period we got here at 5 and left at 10 over 3 hours of waiting and a hour of actually playing never again food was pretty good though I’ll say that

Cool place with bowling, pool, and video games. Food is really good too, had the fried chicken sandwich and was a bit surprised how good it was. Roommate had the boneless wings and they were also really good. We just played pool but it has 6 full sized tables, plenty of TVs, decent sized bar area, and a medium sized selection of video games. We will definitely be back for more pool and bowling.

I had my son's 12th bday party here. The staff was amazing! Very tentative and made sure all the kids (mainly boys) were engaged and having a good time. I recommend this establishment to anyone. You get so many options to have a memorable day. And the adults can hang out at the bar 😉

Dietary restrictions: One of my son's friend had dietary issues. The staff made sure they had something when the other kids were served.

Don took 2 hrs to speak to. It really sucks to come to main event to wait 2 hrs to get to talk to a manager.

Went on a Sunday before a holiday and they were just ill prepared. There were a lot of parties going but they didn't have adequate staff for the kitchen and dine in area. Service was fairly quick at the front desk but had to ask someone at the desk to call another person so we could be seated in the dining area. The food was just ok. I wasn't impressed. It wasn't nasty either of I ever I go back i would order something off the menu. Dillion was great, very nice, and accommodating seeing he was the only one serving the tables. Check in process for laser tag was delayed due to there only being 1 person at the desk trying to cash kids out with their gifts and check people in for laser tag. Again not prepared for the holiday weekend. Overall the kids seem to enjoy
